"Bad weather conditions"

Due to the recent bad weather with snow and ice causing treacherous conditions of the roads which have been gritted for those who have cars but for those who don’t and have to battle sheet ice on the side roads and hills before reaching the main roads due to side roads and pavements being packed ice which have not been gritted spare a thought .also how do you expect a child to attempt getting to school if they can’t wear boots it’s ludicrous to expect a child to wear shoes in these conditions rules should be broken I’m sure many parents feels this way as we don’t all have a 4 X 4 at hand

"Don't recommend xx"

The teachers do not care about any ones mental health. All they care about is uniform, grades, studying and home work. They don't do any thing about bulling until it becomes physical fighting. Only some teachers care. The rest pretend. And some don't even pretend to like any one. I do not recommend this school if you want your children to go far in life xx

"Teachers are awful"

Teachers need to grow up. Always a reason to give students a code or a warning. Care about attendance more than if the student is ok absolute shambles!

"Life at Titus Salt School "

Being at salts has been the greatest but also the worse times of my life teachers never did anything about bullying they say they will but it always gets worse than before. But if I didn’t go to salts then I wouldn’t have met some of my greatest friends I’ve ever had in my life.

"Advice for supply teachers"

Advice for any supply teachers - if you are offered a position at this school don't go! A feral clique of pupils who see a visitor's badge and smell blood...the regular staff can't cope!!

"needs a lot of improvement "

my anxiety was at it's worst in this school. their staff meant to help with social issues and mental health are pretty dreadful. the school nurse was quite dismissive and never seemed to care about what you said. bullying was swept under the rug entirely unless it turns physical. most teachers make little effort to help uninterested students interested.

"terrible"

their help with mental health is little to none. a friend of my child got told that all of their problems in life came from their gender identity and sexuality. the heads of my child's year are quite homophobic and sided with the bully over my child and his friends. all in all not a good school, would not reccomend it.

"Amazing"

The pastoral staff are incredible as a student myself I could not get better support. The subject teachers are also amazing very helpful and also funny. Mental health support is excellent. The systems put in place for corona are also very secure and safe.

"absolutely awful"

the school hasn't properly enforced helpful rules for social distancing or cleaning down, and quite frankly the way they deal with bullying is quite dreadful.the heads of my year group have been dispicable when it comes to helping students. would not reccomend sending your child here.

"Not doing a good job"

No social distancing, tables and classrooms are not cleaned in between lessons. Teachers not social distancing with students. Face shields and masks are worn but most don’t use them properly. Very poor work being put into avoiding contracting the virus.
