"The worst school in bradford"

This is will be a list of the many issues of the school, in bullet points, because i dont wanna hit a word limit :/
-Homophobia/Transphobia(from students and even sometimes teachers)
-Racisms
-Ableism
-Rampant bullying(from students and teachers)
-contradictory rules about attendance(can't go to school because your in the hospital or do not wanna spread a virus? they lower attendance and then have threats of social services for said low attendance)
-deadly classroom environments(mainly in BTEC)(wood, metal and equipment thrown across classroom)
-teachers not punishing students for blatant rule breaking
-student's destroying other student's equipment or work
-making incident reports disappear and falsifying incidents that never happened
-underfunding of school equipment(PCs, desks ect)
-underfunding of special needs help(The Hub)
-bans fizzy/carbonated drinks/energy despite they sell soda
-ignore/never informed about EHCP(educational health care plan) until made to
-the protest incident(look at other reviews for context)
There's is so much more but this is just the tip of the iceberg
(p.s:The hub, IT staff(not teachers), librarian, and some teacher are fine, hence why some of the best have quit, but they make the school just bearable)

"Much like the students, this school is commiting crimes"

id rather go to hell as a terrorist that killed 6000 people then want to go to this school. The only good thing about the school is the building. Bullying is the norm and nothing is done about this. students constently break laws and boast about taking drugs. my mental health is shattered from attending this school and nothing us being done about this. nobody takes anything seriously and overall, the school are rewarding chavs and no pople who actually get on with the f***ing work. Pathectic all these people have a dark fuure ahead of them and it's mostly because of this shitty school.
End the chavs and join the REVOLUTION

"bbec needs dealing with"

Bbec is shocking especially with what happened today with teachers/grown adults grabbing, hitting leaving bruises and throwing children up too the wall because the students started a protest to allow them too be able to use the toilet when they need to mainly girls and then the teachers started doing that and telling the students too run at them and to come on then

"I’m disappointed with this school"

My time at this school was terrible. The teachers didn’t care at all and they only cared about getting paid and chatting to other teachers about students before they started the lesson. Another bad experience that I had, was when you get bullied by students and all the fights that went on. I can also say that people find anything to comment on about you and rumours always go around. You also find students trying to fight staff and pastoral. Students also try escape bridge and set off fire alarms or even put other students in a lockdown procedure. I have now left this hell hole and I just wanted to share my experience on what went on :)

"Terrible"

I left this school a couple of years ago (2-3). My experience was terrible, I was bullied from year 7 to 8 by numerous students in all years which affected my mental health a lot, teachers never did anything to stop this even though majority of the time this happened in lessons. Before, the current headteacher joined the school, school was enjoyable for the most part, we had end of year school trips going to theme parks, every Friday we could come in our academy uniform, a couple of times a year we would have non-uniform days for charity, the lunch food wasn't that bad and it was more about the experience. Then when she came along she scrapped all that and was more focused on academics and attendance to be the "best school in Bradford", yes that is important and all but you can still do that without taking the fun away from school. Personally, I was assaulted while at this school, just outside the school premises. My mum had to call the school 3 times for them to do anything about the boy that assaulted me and the first time they said it wasn't a school matter because it wasn't on school premises, they only started caring and taking it seriously when I got the police involved. While there, the school was put on lockdown 2 times, one lasting only 10 minutes because of a situation with a boy having problems with a group of guys from Grange school just down the road because of racist incidents, and the second time lasted an hour and a half, traumatising half the school causing people to have panic attacks and throw up because a boy who was supposed be in the Bridge Programme escaped his classroom and decided he wanted to kill all the year 8s and 10s by dropping a fire extinguisher from the balcony and apparently was found to have a knife on him. They offered no explanation after and pretended like it never happened. Also, an English teacher was fired around 2018 for hitting a student and refusing to teach his classes, 2 years later he was found out to be a pedophile and is currently in prison. The SLT and pastoral pretend they care but they really don't and numerous people have heard them say they can't wait to get home and drink a bottle of wine because the kids are driving them insane. Another teacher was fired, or "left on sick" as they say, for threatening a year 9 with a hockey stick, also she kept misgendering a girl with short hair as a boy and refused to acknowledge she was a girl even though being told numerous times she didn't like it. One week at school, there was 11 fights and stampedes in the corridor which led to having an emergency assembly because it got out of control. So yeah a pretty terrible school, I suggest you don't send your kids there unless it is your only option.

"Go to this school "

I do not recognise the school from other reviews. Two of mine have gone to this school and the teachers have been inspirational and their results fantastic.

The building is so attractive and they always come home happy. As well as engaging lessons they do lots of other stuff like trips and sports and dance and leadership systems. The school should be proud and I’m hoping the concerns raised are now addressed!

"The Worst School In Bradford "

I Absolutely Despise this school I wish I could of found another one to go to. Children are constantly getting bullied & the school doesn’t take it seriously. There is rubbish always on the floor left by other students which the staff have to pick up. & Students in this school always skip lessons or get into trouble by the head teacher miss Hartley.

"Dose nothing about bullying "

One of the worst schools you can go to they don’t do anything about bullying and fights. Students throw rubbish off the balconies & there is lots of fights that happen here. The teachers don’t care at all they are all just lazy. Students escape school all the time and get themselves into trouble. One of the worst experience I have ever had.
