The Canterbury Academy

My son joined The Canterbury Academy in Year 7 and we've been very pleased with the progress he's made. The school's focus on extracurricular activities and community service has helped him develop important life skills and values. His teachers have been fantastic and we feel very lucky to have found such a great school in Canterbury.

My daughter has been at The Canterbury Academy for three years now and we've been consistently impressed with the standard of education and care she receives. The teachers are approachable, supportive and truly dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. Highly recommended!

I used to go this school but only made it up to year 9 and didn't come back for 2 years due to how miserable and frustrating this school was the teachers weren't that great I hardly got an education because it was dog sh I was constantly picked on by the music teacher and I had so many fall outs and was bullied a few times but all they did was nothing they don't care about u nor ur mental health i wasn't getting the help I needed especially when I was extremely low and not to mention there's always something going on there like fights, someone getting hurt etc
the only good thing there was the puddingsss don't recommend this inhumane school also a ped working there

Communication was excellent when discussing a move to the school. Extremely professional staff.

Teachers are good and the education received isn’t horrific
People aren’t always the nicest there and some people can be horrible
I moved away once I finished as I couldn’t bear the social bubbles created in the school
Teachers are lovely and there is a lot of support for people suffering with mental health

Teachers extremely rude, there is a Paedophile as a teacher. Never really learned anything, teachers dont care about mental health or the students at all.

Performing arts facilities are fabulous and teachers are supportive and hardworking.

Disgusting place. Bullying is rife and music students get no support. Sucks
