"Brang up personal info infront of someone I didn't want them to know."

At school there are teachers that you can talk to if you have issues etc and I spoke to one multiple times. One day I get in an argument with a yr9 that has a criminal record that this goes on for multiple weeks (even a month) where they would harass me and threatened to kill my cat and to find my locations as they found my social media. I talked to this to the teacher and she spoke to the Yr 9, which said I lied and that I was making fun of them etc even tho they had a record of doing this and THE TEACHER BELIEVED HER. This was very unprofessional and she started bringing this up in front of my tutor teacher and saying abt my personal life/trauma even tho I didn't want my tutor to know which is a privacy violation which is very immature of the teacher.

"Unfair teachers + sell raw/rotten food "

The teachers are unfair by treating u as factory workers, saying to do what they say no matter what it is, the teachers say we should have no rights to have minds and our own opinions. They say just because we r students, we r not allowed to question when a teacher gives us a detention for no reason and get u in trouble for getting out of school to call u parents before school starts and say ur late even tho they saw u in school before u went to call ur parents etc. And they undercook/make food raw and not even give u a refund, just get u a new one even tho u just almost ate smth raw which is dangerous. I've also seen hair in my food MULTIPLE TIMES.

"Unfair detentions."

The teachers are unfair, rude and act like students don't have feelings or minds. Teachers say that they don't care if we didn't do anything wrong, they are allowed to give us detentions without us questioning it. They get us detentions even if we are already in school and step outside to call or text our parents before school but we enter inside a minute late even though we were in before.

"Don't send kids there."

They are horrible to you and don't care about you, if you get bullied especially if you're a girl they'll laugh at you because girls can't hit people apparently.

"My review "

I do not like the school as it does not help you in anyway, they do not care unless it looks bad on them. They only help you if it helps them.

"School needs reporting"

What a rubbish school this is, they don’t know how to deal with children with mental health problems. The school and teachers are more concerned with how they look than how they treat there pupils, this school needs to be looked into by higher authorities. They say talk the talk but when it comes to helping a child with mental health they haven’t got a clue.😡😡

"Why not to go to Alec Hunter Academy "

The school is ok ig. Food isnt always great. Some teachers are nice, some aren’t. When there is a fight teachers will aleays take the side of the kid who has got stuff going on at home that they know about. Pe staff are moody af but the sports are great. Mr jones is a top g. However you cannot wear more than one stud in your ear and have any nose piercings and no coloured hair. Its always freezing and they keep running out of books. Xx

"BOSJJDS"

This school is alright ig, the school severs up litrally cheesy pasta that tastes like cardboard, the cookies are basically dough and the chips are hard. But they have inporoved and really tries to stop bullying and gives free therapy to students who are going through a difficult time although the school is full of chavs and roadmen. Beware of the year 9s they are all assholes xx honestly I would recommend to other people around the area as a year 10 😊

"Excellent school experience!"

Our family has had a brilliant experience at Alec Hunter Academy. The school's values and ethos have really rubbed off on our children and we've seen them grow into confident and compassionate young people. The opportunities available, such as the Duke of Edinburgh award and the school musical, have been fantastic.

"A good school with some areas for improvement"

Our experience of Alec Hunter Academy was generally positive, but we did find that the communication with parents could be better at times. The school's values and ethos are excellent and our children enjoyed the school's extracurricular activities. However, we did feel that the academic support for some students could be improved.

"Idrk tbh"

They don’t deal with bullying (in my opinion) they go with whoever shouts loudest. One teacher took me in a cupboard with them and they put sexual harassment down as “flirting”. I wouldn’t recommend however, they are the best in the area so idrk do what you like
