"Prison is better than this"

The students were gremlins and the teachers let them get away with anything and everything, the head even tried to install CCTV in the girls bathrooms, they claim to care about mental health and disabilities but they keep the disabled kids in a separate room for break and lunch. and the teachers care more about uniform than actual education, no tie? no learning.

"bad and good"

left here about 2/3 years ago. had some good friends and funny teachers sometimes however the air made you feel ill and cold. you cant really talk much in class and they put pressure on you from a very young age. exams don’t count for anything tbh. left without passing science and maths and im still able to go to uni if i wanted too. also the safeguarding teachers will call up police if rumours are spread you did something without any proof which wastes valuable time for police and staff. some teachers defo have favourites and also they locked toilets and banned skiers which is odd and pervy. seems better than bedwas but still quite bad. dont remember anything i learnt.

"Like stubbing your toe everyday, five days a week"

Blazers are a absolute nightmare and due to no heating or air con u either bake in summer or freeze to death in winter, the toilets are off limits because of some kids in six form who appanently just stole a whole toilet. This place is like the wild west and some teachers are chill but loads are super strict. the head teacher never does anything and just walks around the halls yelling and leaving lots of work to other members of staff. The pile ons are crazy and some kid got injured bc half the year crushed him, and apparently the teachers don't even let the girls go to the toilet when they need to which is super bad. The head teacher also went in the girls bathroom one time and all the staff said he didn't do it but I actually saw him because I was in line for History. The teaching is rushed and they make us take all our exams super early becuase they rely on endless re-takes and hope we scrape a C (they made me do my rs gcse in yr 9). the top sets are quietish and don't know what the learning experience is like in other sets but the learning is pretty ok i guess if you are in the top two sets and get some good teachers. On the whole i'm stuck here and wouldn't reccomend

"1/5 stars."

Horrible, horrible school with little help given to those with mental health issues and disabilities. The lack of help from teachers when a student is getting builled. It is a horrible place, my daughter attended this school she had to be moved due to the problems listed above. Its a undeveloped and unhealthy working environment that needs to be sorted. It's not only the students that's the issue it's the teachers do not recommend.

"Jail has more freedom and consistency than that place"

The only good teachers are the ones who don't care and the bad ones take the rules to far, the rules change throughout the year and it looks like it's about to collapse, half the teachers are never in and no-one takes a supply teacher seriously so at the end of the day we don't learn anything and if 9ur teachers actually in they spend half the lesson yelling at some kid instead of sending them out, they only have one toilet which is always locked during lessons, and they care more about blazers than our education. It's a horrible place
