About St Paul's CofE Primary School, Astley Bridge

Our school is a community that welcomes people of any faith, and none, to come and fully participate. We retain our historic faith roots as a Church of England school, supporting all, irrespective of faith, on their own spiritual path. While society at large presents tolerance as a virtue, St Paul's school offers something much, much better - hospitality.

"Wonderful Education and Community"

My children attended St. Paul's for 7 years and I couldn't be happier with the education they received. The values of wisdom, knowledge, and skills were always evident in their daily interactions and I witnessed them grow into confident learners. I particularly appreciated the 'Meet the Teacher' and 'Find out Friday' sessions which kept me informed of their progress.

"Excellent Foundation for Future Learning"

St. Paul's has given my child a solid foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics. I like how they focus on individual students' needs and provide extra support where necessary. The school's 'Life in all its fullness' approach has also encouraged my child to be more open-minded and empathetic towards others.

"Nursery Provision Exceeded Expectations"

I was initially hesitant about sending my child to the nursery program, but the staff and facilities at St. Paul's put my mind at ease. The 'Little Saints' provision is well-structured, and the teachers are caring and attentive towards the children. I've seen my child make excellent progress during their time there.

"Mixed Feelings about the School"

My child attended St. Paul's for a few years, and while they were happy with the school overall, I felt that the communication between teachers and parents could be improved. I often struggled to get in touch with their teachers, and the school's use of Seesaw for homework could be more user-friendly. However, the school's values and community spirit were certainly positive aspects.
