"such a horrible school"
This school is the worst when it comes to solving serious issues like racism bullying and many more. The teachers at this school are very rude and insult the students and still get away with it even if the student reports.

"Don't."
Send your child to this school if you want them to be bullied, harassed, discriminated or to feel unsafe.
The state of the place is atrocious. Gum is everywhere - on the walls, under the tables and all over the floor.
The kids are devils. There's no other way to go about it. They are liars, rascals, and most importantly, bullies.
Seriously. If you want your child to feel like they are not safe going to school, send them here by all means.

"Do not even think about it."
Fucking atrocious. Send your child here if you want them to be bullied, harrassed, discriminated or made to feel unsafe.
The place is a shithole. Gum everywhere. Under the chairs, on the walls, and all over every single surface you could dream of.

"Trigger warning Abelism"
This school is awful for special needs, as a "high functioning" autistic child u was given no support and forced to mask and act like other students. This then lead to bullying which was basically promoted by teachers as my bully's where given rewards like getting help when I was struggling.
After leaving school I realised I had autism and this school has given me trauma that will stay for years because nobody would listen as there was no proof of bullying
So parents please, if you child is special needs of any kind this school is not great unless you have the time to fight against them because they will not belive you.
I'm sorry to anyone reading this with a similar experice, it was not your fault.

"Excellent school for our daughter!"
We are so impressed with the facilities at Mount St Joseph, especially the sports hall and the ICT suites. The staff are always supportive and encourage the children to reach their full potential. Our daughter has really flourished since joining the school and we feel it has given her a great foundation for the future.

"Charades"
I came to MSJ believing the myths that it was the greatest school in the area, particularly in areas such as equality, inclusion and handling bullying. However, the portrayal of this school is far from the reality. Don’t get me wrong, out of all the local schools this is still my top pick, however do not be as naive as me in thinking it is the easiest to get through. I endured bullying throughout my time at MSJ, most of which went unchallenged by staff. Towards the end of Year 11, my ongoing counsellor support was cut for no apparent reason and without notice. I masked the fact that I had Aspergers (Autism) throughout my 5 years, and because of this I did not get a fair hearing when it came to being elected Head Prefect. Teachers made bad excuses as to why, but I know without a doubt that the only real reason is because MSJ is an ableist school. The SENCO didn’t believe I had autism and so reviews my EHCP plan was meant to have never occurred. Overall MSJ only suits the less sensitive, and those with learning difficulties to the point where they don’t realise how much staff let them down. Academically, I did great, despite the head of the Maths Department leaving me to learn alone for over 6 months. This impacted my grades as Maths was the only subject where I received a grade below a 7. When I left MSJ, I didn’t say “I left.” Instead, “I survived.” For those more aware, MSJ is a vast wilderness not for the faint hearted, and for the school to comment on my lack of resilience given everything I was forced to go through alone is beyond insensitive. The mental health of students is definitely a worry as I left the institution, as I am not the first to have had suicidal thoughts as a result of my time there. Luckily, I didn’t join the list of those who acted on those thoughts. Leaving the school, I am still in contact with a particular member of staff fighting for certificates I was owed from two years ago from the point of me writing this, and I have already lost trophies owed due to bad excuses from them once again.
Although this is the best school in the area, it’s challenge is not to be underestimated. My key advice is don’t let the charades fool you, as the celebrity alumni and excellent Ofsted results do not expose the true nature of a place I am glad to be somewhat free of.

"Good experience, but some areas for improvement"
My son attended Mount St Joseph for two years and we had a generally positive experience. The school has a great atmosphere and the teachers are very supportive. However, we did encounter some issues with communication and organisation at times, which made things a bit frustrating. Overall, we are grateful for the education our son received and would recommend the school to others.
