Hunningley Primary Academy is a school for children aged from 3 - 11 years old that proudly serves the communities of Stairfoot and Kendray in Barnsley. Our school shares this belief that every child can thrive given the right teaching and support. "A Wonderful Experience for Our Children"

We have been absolutely delighted with Hunningley Primary Academy. The staff are friendly and approachable, the facilities are excellent and the sense of community is wonderful. Our children have thrived here, making great progress and developing into confident learners. We can't recommend this school highly enough!

"Excellent School with a Kind and Supportive Ethos"

Our children spent three happy years at Hunningley Primary Academy and we were consistently impressed with the school's commitment to academic excellence and its values of kindness and belonging. The teachers were always available to discuss our children's progress and the after-school clubs were a great way for them to develop new skills and interests.

"A Good School, but Room for Improvement"

We have been generally pleased with Hunningley Primary Academy, but we do feel that the school could do more to engage with parents. The curriculum is engaging and the teachers are knowledgeable, but we have experienced some issues with communication and organisation. Overall, it's a good school, but there's definitely room for improvement.
