"Please don’t go here"

This school destroyed all of my confidence and curiosity I dreaded it every day. They care about how many stripes are on your tie but not the children who are struggling due to bullying and mental health. The senior members of staff are the worst, making me feel like I would never succeed because my attendance was 70% (I wonder why). I taught most things myself as most teachers were useless and I passed everything and am now at an amazing grammar school that treat us like actual humans NO THANKS to anyone there. I won’t let that place continue to destroy me and if you’re there just try to stay strong.

"0 stars if I could"

Not what it claims to be. I know most schools have low reviews but this should be the lowest. They don’t care about mental health and staff ignore verbal bullying despite it being in front of them. There are about 1600 students and the cafeteria only holds around 250. The queues to get food are 30+ mins and you have to stand up or sit on the floor most times and you can’t eat in any classrooms. The only thing they care about is high grades because it makes them look better and they disregard students mental health to achieve it. Don’t send your child here. You are better off anywhere else.

"Hell hole"

Never put your child in this school, it's like a prison. The assistant head mr smith doesn't care about you what so ever and they promise you opportunities and never go ahead with eat. Teachers don't know what they're doing and I don't think any child should go through the torture of being in that school

"Absolutely shamless excuse for a school"

What kind of Parents would send their kids to this Hell hole? The Students pratically own this School; the teachers have no Authority whatsoever. I was promised many opportunities to cope with my ADHD whilst enrolled at Woodchurch, none of which I was granted. It is full with the most braindead teachers ever; who will scold you for giving the slightest bit of Logic.
As of writing this I am a year 11, It is a miracle that I made it as far as I did before departing this cesspit nevermind graduating. As was mentioned with many other reviews on here; Bullying is quite a problem and teachers don't seem to think their paychecks cover the act of Bullying, therefore nothing is ever done about it. The teachers just leave you in the dust and expect you will figure everything out for yourself. For the sake of your Child's safety; DO NOT send your children(Kid) to this dunpster fire.
Like I mentioned, I was glad to get out of there when I did.
I am currently being "Home-Schooled", but if that means a less successful future; So be it.

"Don’t go here"

This school is possibly the worst on the Wirral. The senior members of staff are vile and disgusting and tried to get people excluded for speaking about being SA’d. No child should ever go to this school. Other then that mr heskith is one of the only good things about it.

"HORRENDOUS SCHOOL."

This school is awful, i strongly urge that no-one attends this school. Especially if you struggle with mental health or if you are apart of the LGBTQ+ community. To say that we have multiple gay teaching staff, one of them being included in senior leadership, the way that anti lgbtq bullying is dealt with is horrendous. I'm a current Year 10 GCSE student and i have been bullied at this school ever since year 7 and nothing has been done to sort this. I have also struggled with mental health since this time due to the repeated bullying and i was promised a confidential in school therapist and wasn't provided with such. I was left to suffer in silence and i still do to this day. Teaching staff behavior is out of this world. This school locks every toilet in the buildings and opens one set of them at break and lunch time which can't even be used because they won't monitor who is using them and they end up swarmed by students on their phones. There has been multiple alligations of sexual assault come from this school, including reports accusing a staff member of this with given proof and the headmistress has still not addressed these claims. I link back to the start by saying, i strongly advise that you avoid this school at all costs if you value your mental wellbeing and your future in life.

"Challenging and Supportive Environment"

My child attended Woodchurch High School from Year 7 to 11 and I was consistently impressed with the school's values and approach to education. The school's focus on inclusivity and social responsibility is outstanding and I believe it has a positive impact on the students. However, I felt that the school could have done more to support students with additional needs.

"AWFUL school"

absolutely awful. was suicidal and self harming for 4 years- got found out and got anger management??? shit anger management at that and the woman left the school didn’t get anything else after that. still struggling to this day. bullying and homophobia is absolutely disgusting. complained so many times about both issues and nothing was ever done. got attacked while doing my gcses and the people who done it were allowed to stay and finish their exams and are now allowed into the same college as me and allowed near me? disgusting school.

"Welcoming and Supportive Community"

We have been impressed with the welcome and support we have received at Woodchurch High School. The school's values of kindness, respect and responsibility are evident in the daily life of the school and the staff are always available to offer guidance and support. The facilities are also excellent, particularly the sports centre and the school farm.
