"Terrible school full of bullies!"
If you are thinking of putting your child in this school DONT! It’s an awful school full of bullies and the teachers and head are more concerned about covering this up than they are stopping the bullying infact the bullies don’t even get reprimanded!

"Devastated Disappointment: St john Plessington"
St john Plessington is not a suitable school for students due to multiple reasons. The school has a negative culture where bullying of teachers and staff is rampant. This creates a hostile learning environment that affects students mental and emotional wellbeing attending St john Plessington is just as bad as playing "Overwatch 2" Were my son as try to hang himself several times It is deeply concerning to hear that a School could be as bad as it is. Furthermore, the quality of education at St john Plessington is Terrible, Undeserving which compromises students' academic success and future prospects. Overall, attending St john Plessington can negatively impact a student's education, Mental wellbeing and personal growth .

"Strongly advise against working here."
Violent, constant disruption, SLT might as well not exist. I came across swastikas drawn in textbooks so many times I lost count.

How to describe such a school is truly beyond me in so many fashions that it would be hard to find the exact words; pathetic will have to do. There are many issues with this school that I simply have to list: First and foremost, the NEW one way system- while I was never a fan of the old one way system as it forced us to go around the entire school to get to a lesson five meters from the last at least it worked but now that they have built a new building they completely flipped the system on its head causing enormous crowds in hallways and doors however even after they have seen the ramifications they still chose to keep the new system. This is made worse not only by the fact that there are alter detentions despite how crowded the hallways are and the fact that as a new sixth former they have promised me and my fellow pupils that once we join sixth form we will be able to break the one way system but now apparantly we can not; secondarily is community service, now you may ask yourself, that's what they make criminals do in turn of jail time and you would be correct however for some reason sixth formers are somehow just allowed to be forced to do the teacher's jobs in helping out with clubs with no personal benefits to be included. Personally the whole idea seems like something you would volunteer for, not be forced to do; Thirdly is personal development which only serves as a complete waste of time which could be used to study or at least be added to our break as people doing their A levels and B techs are forced to learn such groundbreaking concepts such as bullying is bad, don't do drugs or aids exists. We only learnt about black history twice during black history month but I couldn't tell you how many times I have done UNICEF to the point I wished I had no rights as at least it would give me peace in silence; Rewards, I know this sounds strange but just hear me out, so far I can name two important rewards that the school has given, one was for completing a moc exam, it was a walking talking moc but don't worry they gave us water bottles. The second reward are pizza parties they give out for attendance, only one problem, WE PAY FOR IT! They actually get a half off discount but make us pay full price and give half to charity and I understand the importance of charity but it isn't very much of a reward is it. On the second half of the spectrum they seem to reward bad behaviors, my younger brother had to go to the hospital because another child stabbed them purposely with a piece of equipment and how was the child punished, by the way if they caused permanent damage they could have been charged, a week off and they were taken out of lesson to go on a bouncy castle; Just to let you know there have also been multiple convicted pedophile staff members so that's fun.

"Do not send your child here."
Worst school i've ever attended. Teachers do not do anything to help you nor believe a word you say. They also think they have the right to check and monitor every student by making them stand on a painted green line when the gates open every morning to check if anyone has makeup on. If the teacher seen a child with mascara on they would make them feel humiliated by making them wipe it off infront of everyone as they are coming into school. There are about 20 cubicles in this school for both girls and boys and yet they can only use 2 of them. They have to use staff toilets during lessons which they are monitored by a teacher by having to write their name, teacher and the time down. It's an absolute joke. The toilets barely remain open during breaks and lunches and whenever they are open the kids don't even get to go because of the que for it by the time it's the teacher arrives, The teachers do not let the kids go to the toilet unless they have a medical pass given to them so the poor children basically cannot use the toilets all day. Teachers are extremely disrespectful towards the students. Could not think of a school worse than this, do not send your children here.

"Terrible school"
I recommend no one sends their child to this school. Especially if your child has learning difficulties. The SEN Dept is terrible. Just lip service. You need to be an A Grade student and conform to their good catholic strict demands.
Pupils are numbers that make money for their school and improve their stats.
Teachers scream at the children and do not listen or talk to the children. There is a high turnover of staff which says a lot.

"This school from a pupils perspective "
I am a female year nine student that has attended this school since year 7 and over these years I have been bullied and harassed in school and online by pupils from this school and they have been made aware of these incidents and haven’t done anything to resolve them for example just last Friday i was sitting there crying my eyes out because of other students comments and I called my mum to pick me up because the school didn’t do anything and all did was scream at me telling me to get of my phone . After all this had happened I was in class and needed to use the bathroom but my teacher refused to let me go because I didn’t have a toilet pass yet I was on my period and I explained that to her and she still refused and I was forced to sit in my own blood until break time . Also every morning as you enter the school through the main gates you get inspected by the teachers while they are giving you criticism and throwing makeup wipes at you for abit of mascara or lipgloss it’s so embarrassing and there are so many rules on what girls should look like and hardly any for the boys I don’t feel safe while being in this school because of the threats you receive from other pupils everyday

"Amazing School Experience"
My son has been at St John Plessington for a year now and it's been an amazing experience for him. He's made lots of friends and the teachers are very supportive. I love the emphasis on Catholic values and the sense of community in the school. The facilities are also great, especially the chapel and the library.

"shocking"
worst school anyone could choose to join. i’m only going into year 10 in September and the amount of times the staff have made me feel like i didn’t matter and made me feel so unwanted to the point i’d be crying in school and crying to my mum to not send me in. the staff in this school are all vile to you and help with none of your problems. they say they will help with things but after they say that they forget about you. don’t send your kids here.

"Alright school "
The school is good and some of the teachers are the best but the behaviour and ability to learn in lessons sometimes is very difficult. Teachers can’t control classes and the toilets are always full with 2 or 3 people in one cubical vaping. This probably happens in most schools but still the teachers don’t do nothing and act like nothing happens

"Supportive Environment"
My daughter has been at St John Plessington for a few months now and I've been really impressed with the school. The teachers are very supportive and the emphasis on building self-esteem and resilience is great. I've also been impressed with the range of extracurricular activities available, including the STEM group and the sports teams. The only thing that's preventing me from giving 5 stars is that I wish there were more opportunities for parental involvement.

"Mismanaged poor school with a bullying culture "
Really poor school. Where to start? Constant supply teachers. No lesson planning. Bullying and intimidation with staff not taking action. No proper leadership. Lack of equipment due to financial mismanagement. Incompetent leadership focussed on posters. Do not send your children here

"Great Value and Facilities"
We moved to the Wirral and my daughter started at St John Plessington in Year 9. She had a great experience and made lots of friends. The school's values and emphasis on respect really resonated with her. The facilities, including the sports fields and the chapel, were excellent too. However, I felt that the homework load could be managed better sometimes.

"The Bullying is bad "
The bullying in this school is terrible , teachers wouldn't do anything when i told them , they blamed the victim and left the student to deal with the Verbal and physical attacks on a daily basis , even when i told a teacher about the horrific things that were going on and that i seen , they wouldn’t listen , Shame on the senior teachers for the mess they couldn’t be bothered sorting out , The total lack of respect towards teachers and other students is a disgrace
