"Academically High"

Students are well behaved. Quiet on the corridors, no pushing or shoving. 100% recommend if you want to get the best out of your education but no so much if you have educational needs. It is academically focused so it may not cater to your needs. Entrance exam is quite a challenge but the staff are really nice about it! They offer toilet breaks and even biscuits! Not in the actual classrooms though so get the most out of that.

"Awful just awful"

This school only looks good for their reputation. The stairs on the tower block are crowded and almost made me have a panic attack. There are no teachers watching in the halls. Teachers make you print off work, not even knowing if your printer even works. This school is awful. The only good there, is the food.

"So… Yea"

I thought teachers would tell kids off for wandering around recklessly but no they don’t. Not many teachers in the halls. Also very strict school dress code, you could get a negative for wearing earrings. But six form get to wear them, why can’t we?! Also some teachers don’t even give a damn about the lesson. Wish I could tell my younger self that this was a bad mistake.

"I wish I knew before..."

Only some teacher actually care about you bcz when I was a Yr 7 they said they'd help you, no. No, they don't. I told the head teacher I was lost she said "what do you mean your lost? Its right there! Open your eyes!" Wow. That's harsh. Tbh I would say the learning Is good but they just care about the sports and learning. Only if you're ever lucky they'd ask you if your fine. Loads of the older students apparently "hate" year 7's. Which I think is a bad atmosphere since they'd purposefully gossip and they'd make animal noises. It's not great...

"Not what it was"

Recent new Head, not too keen seems bit stand offish. Mainly keen on high achievers if middle of road just don't seem that helpful. Majority of pupils are or have been privately tutored to pass 11+ very few that haven't, hard on the girls who have achieved purely on their own hard work, money wins over all.
From what my daughter has said school have got quite lax on rules and behaviour with some pupils being quite disrespectful. Would I recommend,
few years ago yes, now? Probably not.

"Bad atmosphere "

Teachers do not care about bullying, they won’t expel a student to keep their reputation. There are students doing drugs, smoking, bullying etc. A bad atmosphere.

"Can school see this?"

so much bullying, teachers don't care about it in the slightest. The headteacher (leaving soon) is terrible, all she cares about is grades. They say they care about your mental health but in reality don't. I'm in year 9 rn and I honestly don't recommend unless you're good at netball because that's the only thing that makes the teachers like u.

"Average "

Good teachers but often felt like they prioritised their reputation than actually learning e.g not allowed to wear a certain type of socks as it comes across as too ‘immature’. All about getting the top grades and if you didn’t the school didn’t want to know about you.

However, there was no bullying and lessons were quite well structured. They have great canteen food too - only wish they could’ve focused more on the quieter, low achieving students.
