Pontarddulais Comprehensive School

I am about to go to my second year but I have some criticism. Firstly, the teachers are a mix - some laid-back, others strict. I was lucky to have mostly laid-back, but let me go to the bathroom conditions. I find it utterly shocking as a soon to be year 8 male that there is usually a baguette in the urinal. However, other than that, it's not all that bad (Unless you count the amount of fire alarms pulled).

The school is alright the food is brilliant but some teachers can be a bit to hard but it's a really good school to go to! I think room 8 has a lot of students but if they have more advanced computers i think it will be good

I cannot emphasize enough how utterly dreadful Pontarddulais Comprehensive truly is. From the despicable behavior of certain staff members to the toxic environment within the English department, this school is a breeding ground for bullying, gossip, and unprofessional conduct.

Let me begin with Room 8, where some of the staff members seem to have adopted a new hobby: bullying and gossiping about the very students they are supposed to support. It is disgraceful that educators, who should serve as role models, engage in such demeaning behavior. Additionally, to make matters worse, one teacher in Room 8 shamelessly shares personal and confidential student information with their own child attending the school. This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely disgusting and a complete breach of trust.

As for the English department, prepare for a subpar academic experience. The teachers' flirtatious behavior towards students is not only inappropriate but also highly unethical. These educators seem more interested in advancing their own agendas than in fostering a nurturing and educational environment. Students are often subjected to uncomfortable situations where they are put on the spot, enduring comments and remarks about their personal lives. This intrusive behavior has left many students with trust issues and anxiety, further exacerbating their negative experience within the school.

Considering these appalling circumstances, I strongly advise parents and guardians against enrolling their children in Pontarddulais Comprehensive. The overall lack of professionalism, respect, and dedication to education is alarming and does not provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students. It is essential to prioritize your child's well-being and education, and this school falls tragically short in both regards.

Spare your child the torment and seek alternative educational institutions that prioritize their students' welfare and provide a healthy atmosphere conducive to learning. Pontarddulais Comprehensive is undoubtedly a place where education and personal growth go to die

Absolutely awful, teachers couldn’t care less. Possibly one of the worst schools around .

it's alright. second year in, and its not too bad. friendly staff and very accepting. can talk to them about anything 💕
