Did nothing about me getting bullied and only care about uniform in detention you have to sit 40 mins straight with out doing any thing do not go to this school

This school cares more about your uniform and attendance than ur wellbeing. I’m sad that I can’t give 0 stars. Once my maths teacher told me to close my legs because my legs where a bit spreaded and when she sent me out she said it’s not lady like and boys can look under even tho I was sitting at the front and I had shorts under, idk if it’s sexism or no, also one of the teachers told me to stand at the start of the line in roll call and wipe my makeup off and everyone was staring at me I nearly started crying she said if I won’t do that she will suspend me, and when I told her I hate myself without makeup she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders and walked off. And once I got told off for wearing lipgloss the tiniest bit and had to take it off, and when I came to school after crying a whole night and my eyes where red and I did bearly any work none of the teachers asked me if I’m ok, I used to BEG my mom to let me have a day off because I used to be left out and the school did nothing about it, I used to stay in the toilets for break and lunch, I told my English teacher that I struggle with reading and I get anxiety when doing pop corn reading and he still didint care,I was Litterly crying and that teacher saw me but just didint care, I hate this school so much. And this school says they care about students wellbeing they clearly don’t I mean there is like 1-2 teachers that actually try to help u but others don’t. This teacher used to help everyone in class but not me when I used to put my hand up she just used to ask what do I not understand and when I used to tell her she just used to walk off.

terrible school, some one i know was getting bullied the majority of her secondary school life until she had enough because the school did absolutely nothing and moved to another school, i don’t recommend at all.

The staff do not care about the children or parents views, most are on a power trip. There is no opportunity for the voice of the child and the SEN department is under funded

A student litterally broke my knee by throwing me into a fire door and the school did nothing about it

Being late even if the halls is crowded or you want toilet
Behaviour even tho they made our behaviour worse
I don’t recommend this school At all go to a different one

This school sucks, I was clearly struggling to go school but all they cared about was my attendance. Did eventually give me a part time table but when it ran out I had to have “doctors proof” that I had anxiety but doctors refused and I couldn’t get another part time table. Wasn’t able to get homeschooled. Can’t wait to get out of this hell hole.

I would not recommended this school unless you have 100% english in your blood and are whiter then the background . They do NOT care about your education and care more about uniform and screaming at little children who have no idea what is going on. In addition to this half the teachers are literally racist and try to connect lgbtqerty to many religions which forbid this. also they say you are to wear a -1 inch blazer at all times in the winter instead of actual warm clothes.
they have threatened to expell me for defending myself from these inbred students

holy the teachers in this school are awful. all they care about is a pay check they dont prepare us for any understanding of the real world out there and dont even prepare us for our exams. the environment of the school is appalling and the bullying is out of hand. teachers see the bullying and they do nothing about it. the cleanliness of this school is disgusting and the keyboards walls toilets and everything is absolutely disgusting. the teachers in this school dont give 2 shits about the students and honestly one of the worst schools ever. also the rules of this school is shit and is made tto make the students lives a living hell. please do not come to this school and get this school shut down its so bad.

Actually an awful school. I don’t recommend it after spending 5 years at this school i’m glad to be leaving the teachers aren’t supportive and focus on discipline more than education. Basic needs such as the right to go to the toilet are taken away from students as the toilets are blocked off and teachers refuse to let students go by saying “we’re learning right now”. Mirrors are taken out of toilets to prevent skiving and to stop girls from fixing their makeup and hair in them. Students vandalise the school by ripping toilets off of the wall and breaking locks on doors. All windows have safety locks on and can only be opened so far as students kept jumping out of them. The locks in toilets don’t line up making them unusable as the doors cannot be locked. Most equipment is broken or has a lack of supply as there isn’t enough funding to replace or fix things such as windows. Most teachers either give up on teaching a class if a selection of students don’t listen leaving the rest to fall behind. Teachers only help the students that they believe will pass their gcse’s and leave the ones they think are hopeless. Girls aren’t allowed to play football, rugby or basketball as they are seen as boys sports. And the boys cannot play netball or badminton as they are ‘girls sports’. Staff mainly focus on perfecting uniform for example 20 year 11 girls were put into IEU in one day because of the length of their skirts. This then meant that they had to miss out on learning as they were taken out of lessons for the day. There are more issues with this school but i have narrowed it down to the main ones my experience at this school was atrocious i will never recommend this school to anyone or send my future children here.

Was here from year 7 to 11 and it was the worst years of my life. Got so bullied and depressed and nobody helped until there was like 3 weeks left until i had to leave. Most teachers are selfish and mean and dont help any students who actually need it. If a student is seriously struggling they just throw them in ieu instead of helping them. Only good thing was the food.

This school is terrible, disregard for any students wellbeing, teachers just don’t care about the lessons and cannot control their students. Go to a different school if you are thinking about this

This school is awful. As a parent sending my child everyday was awful. The bulling was never dealt with and the only way it stopped was pulling my child from the school.
The teachers have no respect towards the children and the parents. The parents evening was pretty much non exsictant as teachers would not turn up to the meeting or would have no understanding of where my child's progress was at if they did turn up.
To me the teachers there are only there for a wage packet and term holidays . They are certainly not there for the child's education. Overall I would not recommend this school to anyone as your child goes in confident and come out with no self esteem or confidence.

My daughter was inappropriately touched by a boy in her class I informed the police but told it's a school issue every day she had to be in same classroom and playing out as they did not believe her now she has mental health problems talked to school they didn't want to know so I took her out of school to protect her

Had to take my daughter out of school as she was inappropriately touched by another student went to meetings to sort out problem told she has to stay in same classroom as him and play outside at same time with a teacher's assistant following him about so he doesn't touch her again my daughter told me he gets very close when teaching assistant sometimes talking to another teacher her mental health was suffering they didn't care I reported it to police they said it's a school issue and can't help me it seems I'm the only one protecting her

This school is absolutely atrocious, the staff don’t care about no one but themselves. And let’s not forget to mention there’s been a few cases of pedophilia and make teachers looking at girls changing. A violation of privacy and human rights. Teachers threaten to hit you and you’ll never go anywhere in life. I hope this school burns to the ground. Half the school come to school high to get through this hell they call a ‘school’.

We're really happy with Ken Stimpson Academy. My child is thriving in the supportive environment and loves the drama club. The school's values of 'success, integrity, excellence, and aspire' really shine through in their approach to education.

ohh my God one off the worst school out there the teacher are so rude with the foreign kids they blame them for nothing it’s so bad i hope they change there mentality and don’t know what they doing the head teacher is so bad she protected the teacher and she doesn’t care about the kids unbelievable so liar.

I am just in year 7 and got into my first fight already. When i had gone to medical they asked if i was alright and sent me out. On god no one cares

It’s so hard to come to this school it’s dirty and the teachers make ur life so difficult there’s bullying happening everywhere and right under the teachers noses but they don’t do anything about it no wonder everyone chooses to leave

This school is terrible no one cares about your mental health all they care about is their pay covid measures are trash and teachers dont listen to you. If you're not white this school makes you feel like you cant fit in and you wont feel comfortable

We've been generally happy with Ken Stimpson Academy, but there have been some issues with communication from teachers and staff. The facilities are good and the curriculum is well-rounded. Overall, we feel our child is receiving a good education.

I have had a very poor experience at this school, I have been bullied by a plethora of students and teachers by far the most inhumane terrible school I have ever been to, the staff are rude and nit picky, there is only two teachers that are good and one of them has left.
Overall I rate this school 1/5 stars

My child had an excellent experience at Ken Stimpson Academy. The school's approach to education is fantastic, and the values of 'success, integrity, excellence, and aspire' really do make a difference. We're grateful for the opportunities our child had during their time there.

this school is the worst i have been to. No teachers care about your health or education just their money, the school cafeteria, they pick up food from the floor if it falls. When there is a visitor they act like the school is amazing when its not. DO NOT RECCOMEND

How to start this, the school is awful. The school canteens food is nasty and grim🤢🤮. I once saw one of the dinner staff pick their nose then go on to serve pizza to a student! The teachers are bad and don’t know anything about the subjects! Awful.
