"Shit skl"

I went to this skl and personally it’s not that good for the first few weeks the teachers don’t really pay attention to you then after that if u do one thing wrong like get one red stamp they won’t take ur eyes off u which in certain moments can be uncomfortable since they just stare I got kicked out of this school because I was with my friend we wasn’t going to lesson bc our teacher was rly rude and I fully refused to go until I got moved classes and since we ran from a teacher which I get we shouldn’t have but Yh we got dragged down to the floor by another teacher which I don’t think she should she did get suspended but not for long and then back at her job the assistant head teacher mr Tillman he is horrible I’m autistic and I have pda and adhd I don’t control what I say or do and he wouldn’t adjust to it like I get it’s hard but the school I go to now can make it work but he couldn’t he would constantly follow me everywhere and when I started having a full on panic attack like I was in tears on call with my mum telling her to get me he would follow me round the school non stop screaming at me they don’t care about mental health they just care about their reputation so that’s why they kick the kids who can’t control themselves out the skl if ofsted really knew the things that were going on this school would have been shut down only year 7 and 8 get canteens and other years get outside which I think isn’t fair and the school doesn’t do much about bullying either I wouldn’t recommend sending ur kids here and the work they give u is always difficult and when u can’t do it u get yelled at and u get no help unless u have special needs when still they barely do anythiny except read it to you

"*Need to Know*"

It has its ups and downs like most things. But, when I had a racist comment thrown at me and told the teachers, they did nothing. Absolutely disgusting. And just last week, they made all the years go to the same cafeteria and it took 25mins just to get a bit of food. Unless you want someone to get rammed in like a bunch of pigs in a pen, please go. However, they can be very supportive if you have mental health problems. They have a great sports day so if you want your child to come here, they will be completely worn out.

"Horrible place for innocent children"

As a former student who attended Saint Pauls for five years I can safely say when it comes to sexual crimes against women and sexual assault and the attitude certain males at the school have and how the teachers and faculty deal with the situations is horrible the bullying that comes from older years scarred me and the school head of year phill hardly made me comfortable coming forward to speak about what was going on it is a norm in that school for certain males to touch women without consent and for the school to not even address the issue and say it is out of the jurisdiction is such recently a former student has been arrested on charges of murder in the local area due to gang violence all of my peers I have spoken to about their experiences have said the school has scarred and changed them and they will never be the same Saint Pauls need to do better to create a friendly better environment and put a stop to the normalisation of bullying

"Horrible environment for innocent children"

Saint Pauls Catholic School enables room for sexual assault fear of coming forward discomfort in classrooms and bullying certain students and pupils are allowed to get away with other things if they are closer and have a better rapport with teachers than others The culture of sexual harassment in majority the male students touching girls without consent and bullying through social media pages Sharing videos and intimate things without consent in the name of the school isn’t a healthy environment for a school that claims to be holy and teaches the word of God most incidences have to be dealt with via the police as the school claimed they have no jurisdiction to be able to help recently a student from the school has been arrested of murder of a young boy in the area due to gang violence it is not a healthy place for innocent children that should cool scarred and change my daughter I wouldn’t recommend

"Love it here "

Everyone is so friendly and accepting. Yes the covid restrictions are annoying but it's not their fault. The teachers are actually supportive to wellbbeing not just grades.

"school "

the school does not handle covid properly. the year group bubbles don’t work and the younger years are prioritised. most of the time we have to stand outside or we go into the library that has limited space and not many computers. all that has changed is year group areas which do not work because students don’t really follow the rules. we use hand sanitiser regularly and have to wear masks in communal areas. it is a good school but needs to be improved. the remote learning isn’t very good. however they do check if we are doing the work but they call parents if students haven’t registered in the morning which can be dangerous for children with abusive families. students mental health is not taken into consideration at all. i couldn’t complete some exams because my mental health was bad and i had no motivation and couldn’t get out of bed, same with a few of my friends. most students can’t do schoolwork and it’s too much. there has also been many incidents of racism and homophobia. and the pupils which showed discriminatory behaviour were not punished or anything.

"St Paul’s fail year 13s"

1.So St Paul’s clearly does not care for its students in year 13.
The government have said they will make things easier for exam students due to Covid but St Paul’s has decide to make it harder.
2. Year 13’s have to stand outside in the freezing cold and eat their lunch whilst teachers have the privilege of eating inside whilst their outside getting sick
3. In the library the younger children are prioritised for computers rather than year 12 or 13, this time is very important for them and they don’t get to use the computers as much as them.
4. I have heard from my child that nearly all her friends predicted grades have been dropped a grade lower for almost all of their subjects leaving them hopeless with university applications
5. Mentors barely reply to students with regards to their personal Statements, I understand this time is busy for everyone however deadlines have approached and it will be the children’s fault and it’s the teachers who need to respond.
6. Lastly, my child is so overwhelmed and always upset with the work load the teachers just give advice being “don’t worry it will be fine” which is not good enough, considering nearly 7 months off from school they need to be cut some slack here for these exams especially the ones in January.
