About St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a vibrant and historic part of the neighbourhood of Hendon in North West London. Founded in 1882 initially as a boarding school, the school has survived two World Wars and gone from strength to strength. We work to give our children the best possible education in the fullest sense of the word – academically, spiritually and emotionally.

"Excellent School with a Heart"

I've been amazed by the warmth and care shown by the staff at St Joseph's. My child loves the phonics workshop and enjoys coming to school every day. The focus on gospel principles is lovely to see in a school.

"A Hidden Gem in Hendon"

We've found a true gem in St Joseph's. The Minibeast Project was a highlight of our year and the whole school is so welcoming. We're grateful for the excellent education our child is receiving.

"A Good, but Not Perfect, School"

We had a good experience at St Joseph's, but there were some ups and downs along the way. The school's values and programs are lovely, but we found the communication from the teachers to be a bit sporadic at times.
