"Adeyfield parent experience"

I am a parent with two children at Adeyfield one Year 9 and one Year 7.

It was not our first choice school for our oldest as not our closest school and because of this it took him a little while to accept it as his school and really settle and find the right group of friends. The school were great and moved him to a different form which really helped him. Now he is flying academically and in terms of the extra curricular activities he does like athletics.

My younger son was keen to start at Adeyfield from the minute he attended open evening with his brother and is off to an amazing start. 2 months in and he has made so many new friends. He’s attended clubs, been picked for sports team etc.

The school comms are great, lots of parent meetings, emails direct from subject teachers about upcoming topics and a good line of communication for any concerns.

Miss Mason is an excellent headteacher and the staff she employs have been really passionate too.

Really happy with our choice!

"Adeyfield school"

This school is good at some times apart from wwhen my daughter started her period in school and they wouldn't let me take her home. They are quite good with ther emental health team but one mental health teacher isn't normally there.

"Brilliant School - Really is an amazing school"

This school is a fantastic school. The staff are really caring and supportive. For example, starting my GCSE options; every student including myself was given a revision pack which is incredibly useful. There is opportunities for after school revision sessions which are great. The staff will also support with SEN students especially and will work closely to ensure that they feel safe, happy in school and that they are making academic progress as well as well-being progress.

The staff are never judgmental, and they always try to deal with any concerns.

Although, some bullying can occur - it is dealt with pretty rapidly.

The lessons are always well-structured; the staff will always find strategies to help you if you are stuck on something with the curriculum.

The personal development programs is amazing, for example there is two PSHCEE lessons a fortnight and these lessons are very beneficial.

The school has also improved a lot regarding the new building being built of 8 classrooms, as well as the fairly new science labs.

Students are constantly challenged in lessons and will staff will always challenge our to thinking.

The staff really show compassion for every students progress and they will work very hard to help each and every student achieve their academic goals and get the best grades possible and they will help us to have many skills when we leave.

There is a rich and full filed enrichment timetable that has a club for everyone. From debate, to acting, eco, music, English, and many more.

The school is a very equality school, meaning that everyone is accepted, and everyone will appreciate and respect your inner qualities, as well as identies, beliefs and cultures.

Overall, The Adeyfield Academy is a fantastic school… It is amazing and I don’t think there is a better school than The Adeyfield Academy. I am very happy to be at The Adeyfield Academy. A school I 100% recommend.
