"A very bad experience for my son."
My son is SEN and this school absolutely destroyed his confidence. He was bullied by one particular teacher. The new headmistress (she has been there a while now) took away many of the reasonable adjustments needed to make my son feel safer at school and he became suicidal. Constant suspensions made him feel sad and not worthy. It’s taken months after removing him from the school to see some improvements in him but he still has very little confidence due to so much rejection. I would go as far to say that this school is dangerous for some children.

"Good but could be better"
I am leaving this review anonymously as I have built a good relationship with the school. My son has attended the school for 3 years and is currently in Year 9. The school tries to be the best it possibly can be is making some great changes in the right direction. From what I have been told by my son the lessons are calmer so as a parent that makes me happy.
My son had to deal with a fair amount of bullying during his time here leading up to Year 9 however since a change of staff it seems it was dealt with by Mr Dancer in a single day years after the ongoing issue was not dealt with by the previous staff with excellent communication back and forth making me aware of what was happening. I found the Mr Dancer and Mrs Baldwin to be very efficient and helpful when helping me with any issues so best to go to them, I dont know the others however i am sure there are some good apples.
I will be sending my younger child to the school. I would recommend asking for Mr Dancer or Mrs Baldwin as they get stuff done so quickly and are very good at keeping us informed. Mr Singh is lovely also.
I think it will be great to see how Laureate grow over the next few years.

"This school is totally out of control"
Children are getting attacked by other students under the noses of the teaching staff.
And the victims are being blamed by the teachers.
This school is totally out of control.
It needs to be investigated now, these teachers have failed our children.

"Sad review"
Sadly this school has mostly been a terrible experience for my Grandson. If you have a child with special needs of any type then unfortunately, not many teachers are on your side or your child’s side. In fact, a child can become destroyed by the attitude of some teachers to the point of threatening their own lives. I wish I had more positive and good things to say. There have been glimmers of support for him but they are few and far between.

"Excellent School with Outstanding Facilities"
I am absolutely thrilled with Laureate Academy. My child has settled in so well and thrives in the supportive environment. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the staff are always approachable and helpful. My child loves attending the school and enjoys the various clubs and activities on offer, such as the sports teams and drama club.

"Good school considering"
School had a bad reputation but seems to be on the up. There are some really good staff at the school for pastoral care. Notably Mr Dancer and Mr Benjamin. School is looking very dated but that can’t really be helped unfortunately. Other than that not as bad as people say, it’s been good for my children 😊

"A School that Truly Lives its Values"
I have been thoroughly impressed with Laureate Academy since my child started in Year 7. The school's values of kindness, respect, and hard work are evident in everything they do, from the way the staff interact with the children to the many extracurricular activities on offer. My child has made many friends and loves attending school, which is a testament to the school's welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

"A Good School with Some Areas for Improvement"
I have mixed feelings about Laureate Academy. My child attended the school for a few years, and while they had some great experiences, such as participating in the school's sports teams and drama club, I feel that the school could improve in some areas. The facilities are excellent, but I sometimes felt that the school could do more to engage parents and keep them informed about their child's progress. Overall, it's a good school, but there's room for improvement.

"The worst school ever."
This school is the worse school to ever send your kids. The teacher are rude and don't follow the rules and that is including the covid rules. The school lies to all of the parents including me. They barely have any GCSEs for my kid. They are only other because I can't get them anywhere else. As soon as I can get my kid out of there, they are gone.
