About Notton House Academy

Notton House Academy is a residential academy for boys aged 8–19, delivering both education and care to a wide range of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). The residential aspect of the school enables students access to an extensive range of extracurricular experiences, stability and time to build confidence and skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.

"Potential, but Room for Improvement"

We're still in the early stages of our experience at Notton House Academy. While we appreciate the ethos of kindness, respect, and safety, we've had some issues with communication between the school and us. The staff seem committed, but we need to see more consistency in their approach. The Black History Month Celebration was a nice touch, though!

"Best Decision We Ever Made"

We moved our son to Notton House Academy during term 4, and it's been a game-changer. The values of kindness, respect, and safety are palpable everywhere. He's gained so much confidence since starting, and we're grateful for the support from the staff. The Fire Brigade visit was a highlight for him!

"A Good Home for Our Son"

Notton House Academy has provided a stable environment for our son, who has autism. The staff are understanding and accommodating, and the residential care has given him the time and space he needs to grow. We appreciate the Outdoor Education program, especially the lake activities.
