St Illtyds R.C. High School

St Illtyd's Catholic High School is a coeducational secondary school located on Newport Road, Rumney, Cardiff. It was originally founded in 1923 by the De La Salle Brothers as St Illtyd's College, a boys' grammar school serving the local Catholic community. The school has a rich history, including relocation due to WWII damage and a merger in 1987 that transformed it into a coeducational school for pupils aged 11-16. The school maintains its Catholic ethos and Lasallian heritage, symbolized by the five-pointed star in its logo. Facilities were significantly rebuilt and refurbished in 2002-2003, including an assembly hall, PE block, and sports hall.
