Cantonian High School

Pupils were asked to help with running events such as a car wash with no gratitude, awards and recognition are given out to pupils who staff like socially rather than who actually deserve it. A members of staff who don't like you will make that abundantly clear. Honestly a horrible school overall

This school was awful for multiple reasons

The kids were bullies and the teachers, it seemed as if they did nothing about it. The amount of times i got beat on everyday and the teachers didnt care at all or told everyone to stop and just brushed it off as "just boys being boys", thanks for doing absolutely nothing staff on duty

The toilets constantly had people vaping in them and although the school didnt like it nor condone it, they also barely did anything to stop it, so if you have any type of lung problems, good luck using the outside restrooms

There was of course some amazing teachers but some awful ones, ones who like the power trip, there was also a very sexist teacher, dont know if she's still there. Honestly the only thing i loved about this school was that some teachers where just so kind and funny, but thanks to the staff who didnt care or pay attention for years i was in this school i deal with a lot mental health issues

so anyone from the school reading this, if you care about student wellbeing so much maybe pay attention to kids getting bullied all the time in the yard who just cry in silence, we are meant to feel safe, not feel the dread of how and where im gonna get punched multiple times when i get in school

The education was good for the most part, of course a lot of problems with it but unfortunately i think that's just down to the government and the school system in general

Overall i have mostly bad memories from this school, main reason being the bullying and the staff not doing anything about it
