Taywood Nursery School has served families of Burnley for over 90 years and is a Local Authority maintained Nursery School. We believe that all children should experience exciting learning opportunities; helping children to grow into confident and successful learners.

"A Good but Not Exceptional Experience"

While my child has been generally happy at Taywood Nursery School, I feel like the staff could have been more proactive in addressing some issues we faced. The facilities are lovely, but I wish there were more opportunities for parents to get involved in the school community. Overall, it's been a good experience, but not quite the outstanding one I was hoping for.

"Exceptional Care and Education"

I have been blown away by the care and education my child has received at Taywood Nursery School. The Forest School sessions have been a highlight for both of us, watching him grow in confidence and independence is truly rewarding. The staff are always approachable and it's clear they genuinely care about each child's well-being.

"A Home Away from Home"

My child thrived at Taywood Nursery School - the warm and welcoming environment made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were always so kind and supportive, and I loved receiving regular updates about his day through the Class Dojo app. We're so grateful for the excellent education and care he received.
