"Mixed Feelings"

Our experience has been mixed, with some great teachers and aspects of the school, but also some concerns about the handling of pupil absence and the sometimes lack of communication from the school office. The Ramadan Iftar event was a great initiative, but we've seen some inconsistencies in the application of school policies.

"Its so wrong."

The school isnt good at all, bullying/fights/ and any sort of harrassment from mean words to sexual are not fixed. Would not recommend.

"Excellent School and Community"

I'm so impressed with the facilities at Sir John Thursby Community College. My child has thoroughly enjoyed their time here, with excellent teachers and a real sense of community. The values of ambition, respect and belonging are truly evident in everything they do.

"Fantastic Experience for our Child"

We had a great experience at Sir John Thursby, with our child really enjoying their time in Year 7 and 8. The mock interview day was a highlight for them, and they've benefited greatly from the arts award program. We were impressed with the school's commitment to SEND support and the sense of inclusivity.
