Southborough Primary School

We're still getting used to the school's approach, but the teachers seem friendly and enthusiastic. The facilities are modern, but sometimes classes are a bit noisy and chaotic. We're hoping to see more consistency in the teaching methods and more support for children with special needs.

I must say, Southborough Primary School has exceeded our expectations. The staff are dedicated, caring and go above and beyond to ensure every child feels valued and supported. My child has thrived in their nurturing environment and we couldn't be more grateful.

I feel the quality of education provided by this school is poor. Looking at our children’s school books there wasn’t much to look at. It’s not just my child. I’ve spoke to many of the other other parents in my child’s class and they feel the same. Over the 5 years my child has attended this school. I can say there have been at least 6 children, that have left because their parents were unhappy. The teachers do not care. They are not friendly. I walked into my child’s class for open afternoon and was not greeted by the teacher and not instructed were to go or what to do. She simply pretended that us parents were not there and we couldn’t believe at how rude she was.

My child struggles at school and I have found it increasingly difficult to get any decent support from the staff. They make empty promises. I feel my child has been neglected and if I didn’t think moving him to another school could make things worse and emotionally affect him. I would definitely consider another local school.

I really wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. It has been the worst decision I ever made.

As a parent, it's reassuring to see the school's values of kindness, independence and resilience in action every day. The school's facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the teachers are always approachable and willing to help. We feel fortunate to be part of the Southborough Primary School community.

We moved away from the area, but I'm so grateful for the time our child spent at Southborough Primary School. The school provides a great foundation for children to develop their skills and confidence. While we didn't get to see the newer facilities, we heard great things about the changes.
