horrible school they genuinelly do not care about mental health dont look at the ofsted report or open evening go to their school and look around during the day and the kids behaviour after school and the fights after school you will really see how toxic the school is.its an academy so they are basically a business and do not care whatsoever about mental health they just care about grades and their academy appalling school the only reason its rated outstanding is because of its academy status if you look at kids behaviour its clear its a horrible school

the teachers there are horrible don’t care about mental health and wellbeing the teachers there are creepy one male teacher in particular in the science department is really creepy and has done weigh and creepy stuff really bad school
please don’t send your kids there

head of year was ok but miss mcginty is a poor headteacher. she only cares about one thing- what ofsted think. She didnt give students study leave, then when they went home early or escaped school she would start complaining and crying. Dont you think you should just give the students study leave so then your not responsible for 3/4’s of a year group escaping school? She rarely interacts with the students. Doesnt care about the teachers and even though she might be a good person, as a person, she is not a good headteacher. Some staff members at pleckgate are tolerable however the headteacher? a disgrace to society.

I would've given it worse than bad if I could. This school wears a mask of caring for students and effectively tackling bullying. In reality it doesn't, behind the scenes students get bullied, physically hurt. There are soo many fights happening at break and lunch which the teachers don't even bother sorting out unless someone starts bleeding or smth. No one cares it's just that perfect image they need. A lot of the students vape, harass ect and get away with it. Low-key the children themselves are bad, they act all Innocent infornt of their parents. E.g most of them come to school with a bare face and start doing make up before entering the school, some of the Muslim girls take their hijab off when entering, many of the girls also lift their skirts up purposefully. You can often find boys and girls checking out eachother but weirdly, I've even seen boys haressing girls. This school is disgusting, please save your child.

this school is very bad becuase thet guivve out too many emphasis on to many , biscuits and peiople have been adiidcted to them which is will not be astating names.Also this school is shaped weirldy and isnodly far away from society which can be fixed.And to finally finish my what how why paragraph i have not learned from your lessonsd i will leaving my opinion which is baaaaaaaaaaaad.

Our daughter is thriving at Pleckgate High School. The 3G pitch and indoor sports hall are fantastic, and the teachers are always supportive. The school's values of 'Aspire & Believe, Act & Succeed' really shine through in everything they do.

Our child is at Pleckgate High School and we've had a mixed experience so far. The school facilities are great, and the teachers are mostly supportive. However, we've had a few issues with communication from the school - it would be helpful to receive more regular updates on our child's progress.

We're really pleased with our experience at Pleckgate High School so far. The school's virtual tour was really helpful when choosing a school, and the welcome event for new parents was a great way to meet other families. Our son is settling in well and enjoying the learning.

Horrible school forget having a leavers because after going to the school for 5 years you dotn even get told your leaving. They just told everyone to get out. They dont care about the students at all and forget about mental health all they will give you is stress. Not to mention there is no non uniform days. And they dont know what fun is so dont think about going on any trips.

Our son attended Pleckgate High School a few years ago and loved every minute of it. The school's emphasis on extracurricular activities and community service really helped him develop as a person. We're so grateful for the experience he had there.
