"Poor management, poor education."

Not a good islamic school in my opinion, the school bathrooms are old and rustic and the girls are expected to use the poor, dirty unhygienic areas which are not cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. The head teacher is very quick to dish out threats to parents who refuse to accept their increased yearly school fees. My daughter went to this school and kniwing what i know now, i would never ever se d my child to an islamic school. This is just another con. Education is compulsory in Uk and parents shouldnt be expected to cover the private tuition fees. The education and learning for those with learning needs is very poor. Teachers see the girls as a number and there are no one to one strategies implemented for children who struggle with certain subjects. The school is not person centred at all and the whole building needs renovating and is not safe to use for students. For me uts a big no!!! Padents do more research and dont be fooled by their deceiving appearances.
Allah khair.

"Amazing school!"

This School is great I absolutely hated some subjects but due to help of the teachers I was able to get good grades and my family was proud. Send your daughters here for the best opportunity for them as you can choose your GCSE’s and many students have passed with outstanding grades and careers. If you are wondering al island have added so extra subjects such as Islamic and Urdu my daughter can speak fluent Urdu now! I do agree with how the students have done bad bury with the DSL everything is good alhamdullilah.

"A current student of al Islah girls high school"

I am a current student of alislah and there is very poor teaching, lunch is only 30 min, we went outside for break and lunch which is a risk of hazard, they pretend like everything is fine when the ofsted is here and they stand watching us while we give our description of the school and what we think about it, students can’t even go to the bathrooms without seeing hygiene stuff on the floor toilets broken and also not to mention the school facility itself its very small people have to wait until a class of free to use it if I was someone who was looking for a high school I wouldn’t recommend alislah I would recommend somewhere else this is not the best school for your student to be in

"Serious safeguarding and management issues at ‘Alislah’"

As a former student’s parent, I feel it is important to share the troubling experience we had with Alislah School. This school has severe safeguarding issues — students are allowed to vape and even use drugs without any meaningful intervention from staff. The building is in disrepair, with falling roof tiles, constant leaks, and broken toilets that are not maintained.

The nutritional options are extremely poor, consisting of only crisps and sugary drinks, which are insufficient for a full school day. Many teachers seemed unqualified, some were rude, and shockingly, a few even swore at students. There is even an assistant teacher who is just 17 years old, which raises serious questions about staff qualifications.

Because of the lack of qualified teaching staff, academic standards are extremely low. Out of 15 students, only 2 managed to pass their exams.

Worryingly, after school — my daughter finished at 3 pm — the school does not take responsibility for student safety. If you try to contact the school after that time, they are completely unresponsive. I called ten times while my child was still inside the building, but no one answered, and no one called me back to check if everything was okay. This lack of communication and care is unacceptable.

The administration does not ensure that students have gone home safely or are accounted for. Even worse, the school puts on a false show whenever Ofsted or inspectors are expected, cleaning everything and coaching students on what to say, creating a misleading image of a well-run institution.

I strongly urge Ofsted or any concerned authorities to conduct unannounced inspections and speak directly to students without staff present. This is the only way to understand the real situation at Alislah School.

If you are considering sending your child to Alislah School — don’t. For the amount you would pay in fees, you can easily find a far better school that actually cares about education, student safety, and basic human decency. Don’t waste your money or your child’s future here.

"Honest review"

Pathetic management and poor teaching. People get bullied and teachers are biased, lot of favouritism goes on. Playground is a parking lot which is dangerous. Students have to wait until break and lunch just to go to the toilet which is only 15 mins and 30 mins. Inappropriate acts are encouraged and music is allowed, no manners or islamic teaching is properly taught. Don't send your children here.

"Al islah girls high school is the worst"

I was bullied here . Teaching is incredibly poor. The ofsted rated them good but they are wrong as they are still inadequate. Hygiene is very poor. Girls were very rude to other girls who were lonely. Biased teachers towards rude pupils. Lunch is only 30 minutes . They don't have a playground. They go to a parking lot for break which is cause for hazard. It is not safe at all. It opens a door for predators and accidents to occur. No safety at all. I would never send my kid here in the future so you shouldn't either.
