Our school is a small school, rated Good by Ofsted (June 2024), in the rural Mid-Bedfordshire village of Westoning, which lies between Toddington and Flitwick. A Values based education is followed by the whole school community which encourages every child to be a responsible, caring, hardworking and positive person.

"Wonderful learning environment!"

My child has thrived at Westoning Lower School. The teachers are caring and supportive, the facilities are excellent, and the values-based education is something I really appreciate. My child's confidence has grown so much since starting here - I couldn't be happier!

"Friendly and supportive community"

I've been impressed by the strong sense of community at Westoning Lower School. The teachers are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the school's focus on values such as kindness and hard work really resonates with me. My child loves coming to school each day - that's all the proof I need!

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

I have mixed feelings about Westoning Lower School. On the one hand, my child liked the play-based learning approach and the school's links with the local community are wonderful. However, I felt that some of the teachers could have been more approachable and the school's communication with parents could have been better. Overall, it was an okay experience for us.
