Daubeney Academy is a community secondary school in the heart of Kempston. We provide a nurturing environment for our young people, where every child is given the support and opportunities needed to flourish by the time they leave us as well-rounded citizens. We believe in being First CLASS by adopting these attributes and values: Consistency, Learning, Ambition, Standards, and Success.

"A Community Feeling"

We've been so impressed with the sense of community at Daubeney Academy. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and the children are encouraged to be their best selves. We've seen our child thrive here.

"Room for Improvement"

We've been pleased with the progress our child has made at Daubeney Academy, but we feel there's room for improvement in terms of communication with parents. Sometimes it feels like we're not always in the loop about what's going on. Still, we're happy with the school overall.

"Experience at Daubeney Academy"

For any new students please don't attend the school some of the teachers don't do nothing about bullying and let's fights happen outside of school and when they see it happening they don't do nothing.

"Excellent School for Our Family"

We've been really impressed with Daubeney Academy. Our child has settled in well and the teachers are supportive and approachable. We love the emphasis on character building and the opportunities for extracurricular activities.

"Daubeney Academy - A Great Choice"

We were a bit worried about moving our child to a new school, but Daubeney Academy has exceeded our expectations. The staff are dedicated and the facilities are excellent. We're grateful for the strong academic foundation they received.

"My experience in year 8."

Attended this school for a few months a couple of years ago just before it transitioned into a secondary school. I ended up being bullied by the whole year group and the teachers did nothing to help. Teachers frequently joined in with verbally abusing me and any complaint I made was disregarded.
