Aylesbury Grammar School

I got to the Grammar School’s 6th Form after getting enough points after GCSE and the excitement was honestly worth it.

This school is absolutely great, suited me for the time I was there and I really did enjoy the people and the clases - However, in October, I discovered that I could’ve progressed further if I was in the Scottish education system. I brought this up to my head of year and she stated that this is an impulse decision but she will give as much transfer support as possible if she can get a parental agreement (She did)

This stepped up my perception of schools in general as I was so used to a lot of rubbish in a certain Aylesbury school but I expected nothing and really got the world. Pastoral support are absolutely incredible, food is a bit crap but honestly it was a great school for the time I was there

If your school got the transfer test marks or the minimum 44 points then definitely consider this school

I am thrilled with AGS. My child has grown so much since joining, thanks to the supportive teachers and the excellent house system. The values of 'respect and aspire' are clearly embedded in every aspect of school life.

AGS truly lives up to its reputation. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are caring and knowledgeable. My child has excelled academically and personally, and I couldn't be more grateful.

We had a great experience at AGS, but we did experience some issues with communication from the teachers. The school's focus on academic achievement is wonderful, but sometimes this can feel overwhelming. Overall, it was a good school, but could be improved.
