Canon Johnson C of E Primary School is a one-form entry Church of England Academy on the outskirts of Ashton-Under-Lyne. We are an associate school of the Christ Church community, part of the Manchester Diocese. Our everyday life is based on Christian values making us a welcoming, caring and considerate community for all children and their families.

"Wonderful School and Fantastic Community!"

I am so grateful to have my child attend Canon Johnson. The school's values of love, hope and aspiration are truly embedded throughout every aspect of school life. The staff are kind, caring and highly motivated, and the facilities are fantastic!

"Mixed Feelings"

We've had a bit of a mixed experience at Canon Johnson. Some of the teachers are excellent, but others seem a bit hit-or-miss. The facilities are great, but we've had some issues with communication with the school. Overall, it's an okay school, but not exceptional.

"Supportive and Caring Environment"

My child has really thrived at Canon Johnson. The staff are always available to offer support and guidance, and the school's focus on community and friendship is wonderful to see. I feel so lucky to have found such a great school for my child.

"Excellent All-Round Education"

We were really impressed with the school's curriculum, which encouraged our child to develop a love of learning. The school's Christian ethos was also a major factor in our decision to send our child here. We're so grateful for the education and experiences our child had during their time at Canon Johnson.
