"Education suffered in the name of religion."

There were some good trips and events, a nice playground, and some friendly teachers. Of course, there were also some bad teachers, and bullying amongst older students was a problem.

When I was there, and this may have changed since, the religious nature of the school was taken to the extreme. Yes, it has a Catholic focus, but religion should never be taught as fact. I should not have been left to go to secondary school with zero knowledge of other religions at all, nor zero sex education.

"Good School, Room for Improvement"

We have been at St Edmund's for 4 years and overall it has been a positive experience. However, the school's administration could be more efficient and communication with parents could be improved. The staff are generally very good and the facilities are good too.

"Wonderful Values"

We moved out of the area but our child is still at St Edmund's in Reception. The values of the school are truly inspiring and we feel that they are preparing our child for a wonderful future. The Head Teacher is approachable and the staff are always willing to listen.
