About Irthlingborough Junior School

We have created a warm and nurturing environment for our children. Our school community works hard to deliver to our children on all fronts. We have an engaging and varied academic curriculum – sciences, arts, sport, humanities - to inspire children’s curiosity alongside maths and English that enable children to be ready for the next stage of their curriculum.

"Nice School but Some Concerns"

We've been generally pleased with Irthlingborough Junior School, but we do have some concerns about the homework burden. Our child is finding it difficult to manage their workload and we've had to ask the school to reconsider the amount of homework they're giving out. That being said, the school's commitment to British values and the pastoral care they offer is excellent.

"Overall a Good School but Could Improve"

Irthlingborough Junior School has been a good experience for our child, but we feel that they could improve their communication with parents. We often have to chase the school for information about our child's progress or upcoming events. That being said, the school's curriculum is varied and engaging, and the teachers are generally supportive.
