We are a thriving and active Catholic school community situated on the outskirts of Watford, serving the Catholic parishes of Holy Rood and St Helen’s. It is our aim for each and every child who becomes a Holy Rood pupil to find enjoyment, happiness, friendship and fulfilment throughout their days with us.

"Wonderful experience for our child"

We've been incredibly happy with Holy Rood Catholic Primary School. The facilities are excellent, especially the historic woodland which the kids love exploring. The values of the school align with our own and our child has thrived in a supportive and caring environment.

"A home from home"

My child has settled so quickly at Holy Rood and we've been really impressed with the school's commitment to Catholic values. The staff are friendly and approachable and the facilities are fantastic. We've already recommended the school to friends!

"Good but not perfect"

We had a good experience at Holy Rood but there were a few issues with communication from the school. That being said, our child learned a lot and we appreciated the school's efforts to engage with parents. The facilities are excellent and the woodland is a real asset.
