We are a large primary school in Washington in the north east of England. Our school was built in 2002 and we have fantastic facilities on site. We know that although our lessons are important and our teachers make them fun, we don’t just learn when we are in lessons but that learning takes place all of the time whatever we are doing.

"Supportive Staff and Great Facilities"

We have been really impressed with the support that our child has received from the staff at George Washington Primary School. The facilities, such as the MUGA and field, have been used for a range of activities and our child has loved participating in sports and clubs.

"Our Child Flourished at GWPS"

We can't speak highly enough of George Washington Primary School. Our child has grown so much in just two years and the facilities, such as the swimming pool and tennis courts, have been used to great effect. The staff are caring, supportive and genuinely interested in each child's progress.

"Some Good, Some Not So Good"

We have mixed feelings about George Washington Primary School. On the one hand, our child has thrived in their classes and the staff have been supportive. However, we have had some concerns about communication with teachers and the school's response to parental queries. Overall, we would say that the school is 'good' but could improve in some areas.

"Excellent Education, Excellent Values"

Our child attended GWPS from Reception to Year 2 and we were thoroughly impressed with the education and values that were instilled in them. The focus on learning outside of the classroom, such as with the developing forest, was a highlight for us. We would highly recommend the school to anyone.
