Thomas Telford School is a City Technology College, sponsored by The Mercers’ Company and Tarmac Holdings Limited. It was established in 1991 to pioneer new methods of education, to raise standards for its students and to share successful practice with other schools. It is now widely regarded as one of the most successful state secondary schools in England.

"Fantastic Preparations for Career and Life"

My son graduated from Thomas Telford School a few years ago, and I've been impressed by the strong career guidance he received from the school. The Business Academy and apprenticeship opportunities were particularly beneficial. We're proud to be associated with this school!

"Mixed Experience"

We're pleased with the school's focus on STEM subjects and the extracurricular activities available. However, communication with teachers and the school administration can sometimes be a challenge. Hopefully, they'll address these issues to improve the overall experience.

"Exceptional Education and Facilities!"

My daughter has thrived at Thomas Telford School. The staff are supportive, the facilities are fantastic, and the values of the school align perfectly with our own. We're so grateful to have found this school!
