Southborough High School

Emotional and physical abuse - especially of those with SEN is deplorable. Head refuses to accept responsibility.

I had went to Southborough from year 7-11. In my first year i want to move form groups and it took a over a year and other students like me who wanted wanting to leave, left before me. In orher incidents the teachers dont listen to the students or the parents. My mum had been fighting for me to get extra help at school especially because of my mental heath also the canculer is a joke she gave me a test for my mental heath wich was clearly about depression when she had been told to talk to me about my anxiety. My head of year she was very slow when it came to answering email or helpings parents . Some teacher help and their was only a few teacher that clearly Cared for helping the students.

As a parent of a Year 10 student, I've been impressed with the school's facilities and the level of support provided by the staff. The open day and parent's evening booking system has made it easy for me to stay informed about my child's progress. The school's commitment to community links and charity work is also commendable.

While my child has enjoyed their time at Southborough High School, I've experienced some difficulties with communication from the school office. The school's values and programs are great, but I feel that there could be more parent involvement and opportunities for feedback.

My two sons attended Southborough High School and had a fantastic experience. The school's values of respect, resilience, and relationships were evident in every aspect of their education. The extracurricular programs, such as the residential exchange program to Madrid, provided them with valuable life skills and memories. I highly recommend this school to any parent.

The school has not followed government advice. Despite people in certain year groups getting confirmed with it those tear groups are not isolating. The teachers are also rude and don’t listen to you. Do not send your child here!

The school does not deal with incidents and have felt with covid awfully.
