About St Clere's School

St Clere's School is a high achieving, oversubscribed 11-18 school with over 1400 students attending from across Thurrock. We are a popular choice for families because our students succeed in many ways and are taught by staff who teach with great energy and expertise in an environment that has exceptional facilities. Our school is set on the edge of Stanford-le-Hope and the substantial school buildings are surrounded by a large expanse of playing fields.

"St Clere's is an amazing school with a wonderful community"

I'm so grateful to have my child at St Clere's. The school has a great sense of community and the staff are always willing to lend a helping hand. My child has loved the school's activities and programs, especially the Sixth Form Careers Opportunities and the Labour Market Information (LMI) resources. I've seen my child grow and develop so much since starting at St Clere's, and I couldn't be happier.

"Impressed with the school's facilities and values"

I'm so impressed with the school's facilities, especially the 3G floodlit all-weather pitch and the Drama studio. My child has also mentioned how much they love the school's focus on the 'Pursuit of Excellence' and how it motivates them to work hard. The school has really helped my child to develop their confidence and skills, and I'm grateful for that.

"Mixed feelings about the school"

We've been at St Clere's for a couple of years now, and while my child has had some great experiences, I've also had some concerns about the school's ability to support children with special needs. The facilities are great, but I've noticed that some of the classrooms could do with some updates. Generally, I think the school is okay, but it could be better.

"Great school with excellent facilities and staff"

We moved away from the area a couple of years ago, but I still keep in touch with the school and the staff. My child had an amazing experience at St Clere's and really thrived in the supportive environment. The school's facilities are top-notch and the staff are dedicated and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone.
