Mossbourne Herd Lane Academy is a long established school first serving the community of Corringham in 1922. We became an Academy on 1st January 2024 and joined the Mossbourne Federation. We are now on our journey to be outstanding.

"A wonderful community!"

We've been so impressed with the Mossbourne Herd Lane Academy community. The staff are supportive and kind, and the facilities are excellent with plenty of opportunities for the children to learn and play. We've really enjoyed being part of the school's events and activities, and our son has thrived in his time there.

"Excellent education and care!"

My children attended Mossbourne Herd Lane Academy from Reception to Year 6, and we couldn't be more grateful for the education and care they received. The school's values of being the best we can be really resonated with us, and the staff worked tirelessly to support the children's academic, social and emotional development.

"A real gem!"

We've been so impressed with the Mossbourne Herd Lane Academy community, from the friendly staff to the excellent facilities and activities on offer. Our child has really thrived in their time there, and we feel that the school's values of being the best we can be really align with our own values as a family.

"Mixed feelings"

We've been relatively happy with Mossbourne Herd Lane Academy, but there have been some issues with communication and organisation from time to time. The children seem to enjoy their time at school, and the facilities are good, but we feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and involve them in decision-making processes.
