"Don't send your child here!"

If you're thinking of sending your child here don't bother! That's the best piece of advice I can give you about the school. There is zero communication from School to parents, the student services email might aswell not exist as no one ever replies. Their organisation is so poor, they can't even ensure they provide grades for mock exams or arrange a simple taster day. The teaching itself is well below par. I could go on and on. It has definitely hindered my sons education so please don't make the same mistake.

"Excellent Preparation for Future Careers"

I was impressed by the UTC's focus on real-world skills and industry connections. My child has gained valuable experience and confidence through their involvement in the Ignite program and the extracurricular activities. I wish they had started the UTC sooner!

"Good, but Room for Improvement"

My child is enjoying their time at the UTC, but I feel that there could be more emphasis on traditional academic subjects. The values and attributes taught at the UTC are great, but I'm not sure how well they prepare students for more theoretical subjects. Overall, I'm happy with the experience, but I have some reservations.

"awful"

this school prioritises school grades over the students mental health. within the school, there is a big racism problem within the school, both students and teachers controbiting to, in which the staff deny . they pride themselves on the number of mimority groups that they have, showing us the statistics every opportunity they get but never accomodate or listen to said minority groups. the school is a generally unsafe place for disabled folk, with large unordered crowds of people all on the same floor causing difficulties of walking or students filling up the lifts, which have been dedicated to their disabled peers, when not needed, causing students with said disabilities to take the stairs and be in risk of hurting themselves. Overall, this school is not the sanctuary it says it is and only hurts the people they say they are proud of to have in their building.

"Outstanding Facilities and Staff"

My child has thrived at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC. The facilities are incredible, especially the mock hospital suite where they've gained hands-on experience in healthcare. The staff are knowledgeable, passionate, and supportive - they genuinely care about the students' progress.

"Really Good"

I used to be a student here and while I didn't LOVE it, I did manage. I mean... it's school. Of course it's going to be boring. But this school prioritises mental health very highly and that is great to see.

"Welcoming"

I am literally a student here and it is really good. My old school was absolutely awful and I got bullied relentlessly for being gay. But this school allows me to be who I am and that is the biggest strength here. No teacher is racist, sexist or homophobic and you are allowed to be yourself. You are also allowed to have mental health issues and they realise/understand if you need a break. If people think this is a bad school then they have not seen how absolutely abysmal some schools can be.

"Beware"

Awful school principal acts like she cares about your child but doesn’t. Unprofessional to say the least.

"I don’t recommend "

Didn’t care about students at all, they only cared about the money. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone, it messes up students mental health and messes up their grades. I went down by a couple of grades just with their teaching. Unorganised and just one big mess.
