"perfect school if you have a trauma kink"
best thing i did was leave when i had the chance. i don’t believe in being a tw@t and making teachers lives harder for no reason but the majority of the staff are just bullies living out their fantasy of making children feel inferior. don’t know if claire madeloso is still there but that woman is demonic she runs the school like it’s the navy or something, very patronizing to both students and parents pretty much turns her nose up to anyone she doesn’t see worthy of basic respect. just a pack of cvnts who like bullying kids.

"False information"
When I was a student at Archbishop Blanch School, I felt misled when I first joined. Because I was new, they placed me in Foundation Science even though they knew I wanted to study Medicine. I was told not to worry, that if I achieved high marks in Foundation I could still get grades 6 or 7. This was not true, and this lie had a big impact on my life, as it limited my opportunities and affected my future plans despite my ambitions and abilities.

"Don’t send ur kids here"
Let me out of this hell hole this is an absolute joke of a school I hate it here one of the teachers here is racist and they never take anything to do with racism or homophobia etc seriously enough they act like it’s drama or a little disagreement when someone says a slur don’t send ur kids here it’s so strict and the teachers who are supposed to “help with students mental health” don’t help! One time I told them that I was struggling with homework and that it stresses me out a lot and she said “just get class charts” I never ended up getting it cos there was no point in having an app that only shows my failure and success but now they switched to arbour and that’s even worse because it only shows ur failure since they got rid of positive points and only have negatives. The only good thing about this school is ur friends so if u don’t have mates in this school u may aswell not come bc if u don’t make mates as soon as u get in the school ur gonna not have mates for the entirety of school

"stupid school"
absolutely shit school, dont reccomend. dont come here you will become severely depressed and might consider suicide!!!
especially dont come here if you have no friends from primary trust me!!
pastoral teachers are shit and dgaf about you trust me they act like they do but they'll go running to ur parents about everything. if youve already been accepted to go there welcome to hell.
also rules are biased towards white people because they dont allow us to have 2 colours in our braids(e.g brown and blonde) but they dont say anything when a white person has highlights in their hair??? my friend had 2 colours in her braids and got sent to isolation because she wouldnt take them out. dont reccomend. if you care about you ur mental wellbeing i reccomend not coming here if your a snowflake. in terms of learning and gcse wise theyre good but they put too much pressure on older years year10/year11 especially on higher sets. but in general the environment is terrible outside the classroom and we only have 30 minutes for lunch.

"SEN? Mental health? Nope"
I am a SEN kid, and I am not treated very nicely or very much allowed to speak my opinion. only the kids with "severe " SEN needs really get seen to. The rest are just left out, and my needs are quite a lot but they don't help me and tell at me when I get upset. I also got my private notebook stolen and read. There is an amazing teacher that saved my life, and other nice teachers, but ultimately this school gave me mental health issues and they knew and just gave me untrained therapists that ended up being mean to me. Teachers (most) are very kind. And loving and they are so amazing. Stupidly strict though. I even got seperated from someone who I have an emotional attachment to!

"Not ok for students that are "different""
Most of the teachers are the most kindest I have ever met, and there are a lot of nice kids too, and bullying gets sorted well. But there ere too much expectations, and we are treated like robots, for example, there is nowhere near enough time at lunch and break to do anything, and it's just a stressful rush. For neurodiverse kids, we don't feel understood, and think the school could do a lot more to help us, we are very misunderstood, for example, I got told by the head of SEN to grow up, and that there is nothing to cry about when I was having a panic attack. Could do more to heplp other religions, not just christianity ad Islam, and defenately could do with a more more help to students dealing with bad mental health, and we get detentions if we go to the toliet. The only thing I like are that some teachers are really sweet, to me and understand my troubles, but then I got seperated from one teacher who was like that, because I was too attached. But I just think the school isn't as caring as they seem to outsiders. We never learn about people that are different in assemblies, only once a year. And some religions that exist within the school are never mentioned. I've also been told to stop praying. But I don't have enough time to.

"awful school"
please do not send your kids or go to this school. It claims to have a good community, friendship and a great environment, but it's quite the opposite. there's a lot of bullying that goes on. I went to this school and can say that I have experienced a lot of mean comments and felt left out a lot. I had no friends and for the while that I was there I suffered from anxiety, depression, social problems and other issues. ever since I left I have been feeling much more happier and free from stress and bullies. the fact that this school forces religion, is racist and overly strict in very strange ways doesn't help either.

"Exceptional School Experience"
I have been thoroughly impressed with Archbishop Blanch CofE High School. My daughter has settled in so well and the Christian values the school upholds are wonderful. I love the way the school encourages the girls to pursue their passions and develop their talents.

"Welcoming and Supportive Environment"
We have been at Archbishop Blanch for a year now and it has been a fantastic experience. The teachers are always available to help and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. I feel confident that my daughter is in safe and loving hands.

"Racist school"
School is great if your child is white, if not then I'm afraid the teachers will find reasons to punish them. It is well known for letting white students get away with things they have suspended other minorities for. Headteacher is unapproachable and rude. Quite frankly the school breathes white privilege and is unapologetic about it

"Some Areas for Improvement"
While I am generally pleased with Archbishop Blanch, I do think there could be some improvements made in terms of communication with parents. Sometimes it feels like we are not kept in the loop about what's going on in the school. However, the teachers are great and my daughter is doing well.

Got bullied for 5years and went to the school several times and they did nothing and told me to be quiet and not talk about it when I was getting false claims against me that could have put me in prison and also had my life threatened several times aswell as about 8 other girls. "Mostly cool teachers "
4 stars for the really nice teachers:
Honestly, some of the teachers are really nice and they understand that it’s hard with COVID and all. They tell us to not over work our selves and it’s nice when they say it’s okay that u haven’t completed all the work on time. I always overwork myself to the early hours of the morning.
-1 star for the bad teachers
