The Pochin School is a small school based at the heart of a rural community, providing a modern and forward thinking school experience based on meeting the needs of all our learners. We aim to be an inclusive school, providing an exciting and stimulating curriculum which inspires our children to have an enquiring mind, to develop a love of learning and to equip them with the skills and confidence to have happy, healthy and successful futures.

"A School That Truly Cares"

We've been absolutely delighted with The Pochin School since our daughter joined in Year 2. The staff are warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing an exceptional education. We love the emphasis on inclusivity, and the pre-school has been a fantastic introduction to school life.

"A School That Exceeds Expectations"

From the moment our son started at The Pochin School, we've been impressed by the enthusiasm and kindness of the teachers. The cricket pitch and playgrounds are a bonus - he's had so much fun playing with his friends! We're grateful for the school's focus on emotional intelligence and well-being.

"A Mixed Bag"

We moved away from Barkby, so our child had to leave The Pochin School, but we still appreciate the strong foundation they received. While the school's commitment to individuality is admirable, the workload could be more balanced at times. The village hall dinners were a highlight for our family - a lovely community feel.
