Lancaster High School is a welcoming and close-knit community with very close links to the surrounding areas which it serves. We pride ourselves on offering excellent support to pupils so that they receive the very best of all things during their time with us. It is our duty to see that we meet the needs of all our pupils – be they academic, emotional, pastoral or extra-curricular – preparing them well for life beyond our doors.

"Excellent Support and Inclusive Environment"

As a parent of a Year 10 student, I have been consistently impressed with the level of support and care provided by the school. The emphasis on inclusion and diversity is palpable, and I feel confident that my child is being nurtured in a safe and supportive environment. The facilities are also excellent, with modern classrooms and a state-of-the-art sports centre.

"Good Experience, Room for Improvement"

Overall, I'm satisfied with my child's experience at Lancaster High School. The teachers are generally supportive and enthusiastic, and the school's emphasis on inclusion and diversity is a positive aspect. However, I feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep them informed about their child's progress. Additionally, the school's communication with parents could be improved, particularly via email.

"High Expectations and Strong Community"

I have wonderful memories of my time at Lancaster High School, and I'm delighted to see that the school continues to thrive. The high expectations and strong community values that I experienced during my time there are still evident today. The school's commitment to academic excellence and extracurricular activities is impressive, and I have no doubt that it will continue to produce well-rounded and successful students.
