Lancaster Independent School for Alternative Learning (Lisal)

We visited LISAL during the open day and were immediately drawn to the beautiful campus and the warm atmosphere. Our child has been thriving in the Lower School, and we love how the teachers foster a sense of wonder and responsibility for the natural world. The staff are dedicated and passionate, and we feel confident that our child is in good hands. We can't recommend LISAL enough!

We've been so happy with LISAL since our child started in Reception. The teachers are all so kind and patient, and they've really helped our child to blossom and develop their interests. We love how the school focuses on the whole child, not just academic achievement, and we feel like our child is really thriving here. The only reason we're not giving 5 stars is that we wish the school offered more extracurricular activities, but overall, we feel like LISAL is a truly special place.

We sent our child to LISAL for three years, and it was a truly transformative experience for them. The Steiner approach to education is unique and valuable, and the teachers and staff are all so committed to creating a loving and supportive community. We loved how our child was encouraged to explore and learn at their own pace, and we saw such growth and confidence develop over time. Our only criticism would be that the facilities could be updated a bit, but overall, we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to send our child to LISAL.
