About Kaye's Academy

Kaye's is a friendly village school in Clayton West which is situated on the West/South Yorkshire border with the towns of Huddersfield, Barnsley and the city of Wakefield within easy access. A former mining village with textile mills and a railway, Clayton West is steeped in history. At Kaye’s, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed with our children at its heart.

"Fantastic Support for Our Child"

Kaye's Academy has been an absolute game-changer for our child. The staff are incredibly supportive, and the programs they offer, like Kaye's Club, have been a godsend. We're so impressed with the progress our child has made, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to join the school.

"Excellent School Experience"

We're so grateful to be part of the Kaye's Academy community. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are excellent, and the emphasis on values like respect and empathy is evident in everything they do. Our child has thrived since starting here!

"Lovely School, a Few Minor Quirks"

We loved our time at Kaye's Academy, but we did have a few issues with communication with the teachers. However, the school's commitment to providing a nurturing environment and supporting our child's individual needs was fantastic. The curriculum is engaging, and we're grateful for the experience.
