Hillside Primary School is a passionate about education, and fosters an enabling, caring ethos. We try our best to build the self-esteem and aspirations of our pupils, and with the support of our whole school community, we are dedicated to making a positive difference to the life chances of every child within our school.

"A wonderful school community!"

I've been so impressed with the Belonging, Responsibility, Independence, Courage and Kindness values that the school promotes. My child has really thrived in a supportive and nurturing environment. The staff are always approachable and the facilities are excellent. We feel very lucky to be part of the Hillside Primary School family.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We've been at Hillside for a couple of years now, and there are definitely some things that we like. The EYFS Lead, Miss Conyers, is very enthusiastic and does a great job with the Reception children. However, we've had some issues with communication between teachers and parents, and the school could do more to support children with SEND.

"A great school with a warm welcome"

We moved out of the area a few years ago, but we still keep in touch with the school. The Principal, Mrs Ismail, was always responsive and supportive. The Nurture Provision is particularly impressive, and it has a real impact on the children's social and emotional well-being.
