About Barraclough Hall School

Barraclough Hall School is a Specialist SEND Provision located in Huddersfield, offering a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 5 and 18 with Autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Our vision is to provide a learning environment where young people can thrive, feel supported, safe and are then able to leave school happy with relevant experiences and outcomes to enable them to contribute to the wider community.

"Outstanding Support for My Son"

We have been truly impressed with the level of support and care that Barraclough Hall School has provided for my son. The facilities are second to none, and the staff are passionate and dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. We have seen a significant change in his confidence and academic ability since joining the school.

"A Good School with Some Room for Improvement"

We have had a mixed experience with Barraclough Hall School. The staff are generally friendly and supportive, and the facilities are well-maintained. However, we have sometimes struggled to get in touch with the right people, and the communication could be improved. Overall, we are pleased with the progress our child has made, but we feel that there is room for improvement in some areas.

"A School That Truly Cares"

As a parent of a former student, I can confidently say that Barraclough Hall School is a truly special place. The staff are caring and dedicated, and the facilities are designed to meet the unique needs of each child. My child thrived during their time at the school and I will always be grateful for the support they received.
