Hetton Lyons Nursery School

the school used to be good as a comprehensive school but as soon as it became an academy its just went downhill. theres not much choice of school dinners i think students should be able to go to the toilet when needed because its our human rights and its not that fair how teachers can go to the toilet whilst teaching because they can easily just ask another member of staff to watch the students whilst the go but say we cant go. the school needs to understand that we can’t control when we need to go to the toilet i hear lots of people say to the teachers they can’t control when they need it but the teachers never seem to listen and then the teachers wonder why students never want to come to school and then teachers say to students they can’t wear makeup or jewellery whilst they have a full face of makeup on and wrists full of jewellery its just pathetic if im being honest. also when you say to the teachers your poorly they dont do anything all they say is have something to drink and dont even send you home.

Everyone is miserable, all the teachers are either off, pick on quiet students constantly or suck at their job. Some are genuinely snarky but a few are quite nice, I feel bad for them honestly. Also the kids here are just so mean for no reason at all, like if you don't fit in their standard you'll be outcasted for the rest of your school years. Definitely not a safe place for people of the LGBT community either, as I was almosted outed by an ex-friend recently. Also its pretty obvious that some of the male teachers are pedophiles, as they strictly forbid anykind of skin the girls show. I mean, do ankles really affect anyone? Basically this whole school sucks, don't send your kid here and they'll be safe of 5 years of trauma.

They do nothing about bullying and is the worst school ever

School is a joke, don’t do enough to safe guard kids at all, and they don’t address any bullying either, they over look bullying in so many ways!!!!!

this school is very focused on pe, like they do a lot of sports.
They also care more about how long your skirt is, if you have earrings in etc than your work
Teachers are hypocritical (they wear earrings, nails etc)
I wouldn't recommend if here, I can't wait to leave
Some of the teachers are super nice, like the art teacher

Probably the worst skls u can go to got bullied for ages teachers done nothing teachers just as bad as the student my brother got threated for being sick wouldn't even send me worst enemy their

Literally so much bullying and the teachers don't care?? Also the rate of actual learning is.. Concerning to say the least. Wouldn't really recommend.

I haven’t been to that school for over two years and a group of their students came up to me in uniform and punched me in the face and rammed me with their bikes for looking not like them, they also called me extremely disgusting names as well. Whilst being in the school, I was constantly harassed, had water poured on me, been hit by other students and even had death threats thrown at me. The teachers did almost nothing, and overall an extremely poor experience.
