Midgley School

hello parents , for me midgley school has been a disaster , let me explain , the work is extremely challenging and you do net get enough support the teachers wwer extremely rude to me , example - i was messing around in aasembly and then after the bteacher quotes exactly " sort your life out if you carry on like this in life you are not going to be a lawyer your goin g to get youyrself arrested. the experience was horrible with other kids they wree mean , discriminating , constantly mocking me and callin g me names. and the teachers didt do anything abouit it , oh and the teachers have loads of favourate students onbe got away wiuth telliung me "your the one whos failing school" some incuidents wree theres a other kid constantly repoetaivly saying to the teachers that i have allegeidly said really serius swear words , and when i said nto the teacher it wasent true sjhe replied with "your in is face all the time" when id have never apid any attention to nbium pretty much throughout the whole term , if your child is slightly rude accidnetally midgley schyool is a no no , the teachers balme you are so noit understanding humiliate you infront bof the whole class laugh at u purposly not belkive sensible stoiries shout at you and make everyone look at you i can go on. my teacher was horrile she never listned to me ptroplerly she was not trying hard dhe would just send me out the room if i even smieked in a lessen. and othger students really abdly influenced me and got me into abd trpuble evven ewhn i didnbt do anything , countless sitiuations , the teachers n wree so mean to me and other stuents , they shouted humiliated you laughed at you refused tol ehar what you wnate to say. endless situiatipons wreee ivce tried explkaiuninbg what hpopens and my teacher sayus " stop answering back" all the bad things about thius school i cant even list with ten thousand words

We have been at Midgley School for 6 years and have had a fantastic experience. The school's values of learning, caring and growing together really shine through in the way the teachers and staff interact with the children. The facilities are also excellent, especially the outdoor play areas and the library.

We have been at Midgley School for a year now and have had some highs and lows. The school's commitment to music and the arts is wonderful and my child has really thrived in these areas. However, we have had some issues with communication from the school and some of the facilities could be improved.

We moved to the area last year and were drawn to Midgley School by its commitment to eco-friendly practices and its Music Mark of Recognition. The school's ethos of learning, caring and growing together is infectious and we have felt so welcome as a family. The teachers and staff are dedicated and passionate about their work.

Both of my children attended Midgley School and had a fantastic experience. The school's focus on developing individual talents and skills really helped them to flourish and they both achieved great things. We were also impressed by the school's commitment to eco-friendly practices and its community spirit.
