About Pathways School

Pathways School is a social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) special school in Barking supporting young people from ages 9 to 16 who are unable to access mainstream provision due to either social, emotional or mental health needs. We have a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals who provide a holistic approach to learning in support of both the academic and the pastoral needs of our young people.

"A Home Away From Home"

Pathways School has been a game-changer for our family. The staff are caring, supportive and have helped our child grow in confidence. We love the Learn, Grow, Thrive approach, it's given our child a sense of purpose and direction. Highly recommend!

"Mixed Feelings"

We've had a bit of a rollercoaster experience at Pathways School. The staff are brilliant, but we've had some issues with communication and consistency. Our child loves the curriculum and the therapy sessions have really helped them. We're hopeful things will improve.

"A Fantastic School"
