Teachers are horrible to students and do not care about there mental health all they care abiut is attendance to make them look good

Just been here 5 years and oh my god. if I was dying and given the choice to redo my entire life to stay alive I would say no purely to not go back to this place. bullying and problems are everywhere and the best they can do is ignore parents and offer a 30 minute detention once which never solves anything. I was never listened too or cared for once and it was only in my final year i felt like I could finally breathe clean air again. not even going to mention the stupid and pointless rules. back when I started school here girls were given detentions for having 'the wrong coloured bobble' if they weren't black. if you're reading this as a parent and want to send you're child here becuase it has a good reputation. DONT. that's all they care about. the reputation. your child will come out of here broken and if not I'm happy the school managed to do something for itself. sort yourself out. back when I was bullied the only teachers who listened were the ones who had no power to help and even then. bringing it to the higher ups did nothing and I was cast away for two and a half years until I learnt what they wanted to teach me. to keep it to myself.

Permitted racism towards my son. Another kid called him a member of the 'Taliban' and the school said the kid wouldn't be in any trouble. Disgusting.

This school is a borderline dictatorship us students are stripped of our basic human rights, like we’re not in 1870s for god sake. Dearest regards Lewis eyre

-no standing up and eating under penalty of isolation
-no walking in the hallways at lunch or break
-not allowed on the grass at lunch or break
-school food changed to have little variety and the queues are poorly managed so if you want food you either wait 15 minutes or resort to pushing in like everyone else
-i am told to revise contantly, i would love to, WHY IS THE LIBRARY FOR SIXTH FORM ONLY WHEN ITS ALWAYS FUCKING EMPTY YOU FUCKING MORONS!!!

Outwood Academy Newbold is an amazing school. My child started Year 7 last year and I have seen a huge improvement in their confidence and academic abilities. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are excellent. I highly recommend this school.

I am thoroughly impressed with Outwood Academy Newbold. The leadership team is outstanding, and the facilities are top-notch. My child is happy and thriving in Year 9. The school's focus on Students First is truly evident in everything they do.

I am very disappointed with this school, the big problem with the school is lack of communication, which in turn the causes problems to exculate, Then they try and lie about the situation to cover up mistakes.
I'm not one to leave such a bad review about a school, I have had four children, and this particular school has be the worst school I have ever sent one of my kids to.
My child is in there last year, and the mental scars this school has left them with will probably stay with them for life. i know what your thinking why didn't you move them. The school itself was ok when the headmaster was running it things got sorted but now he isn't there its a disaster.The last 2 years the school has gone downhill rapidly have had to put so many complaints in about this school.
I would think twice before allowing your child to go to this school ask around, do research i really wish I had.

Too strict. Constantly on the students for the stupidest, smallest things; wearing studded earrings or even having a bobble on their wrist.

School kicked my child out of sixth form for being autistic

They won’t let students stand up and eat outside and the punished if they do it’s not an nice or welcoming experience when members of staff are watching your every move

I had a good experience with Outwood Academy Newbold. My child attended the school for a few years and achieved well. The teachers were supportive, and the school offered a wide range of extracurricular activities. However, I felt that the school could improve on communication with parents.
