"WORST school in Cheltenham"

Horrible school, didn't do anything when my child got bullied and blamed it on me for them not wanting to go to their school, even got a family support worker involved when none of us needed it and then wonder why I took my child out of there, horrible staff, horrible place in general, would NOT recommend sending your children there unless you like being out to blame for anything negative to do with their school that affects your child

"The learning itself is decent but…"

The food is good, and the education it’s self isn’t bad but the Teachers do not care about bullying and won’t resolve it, they’ll assume something straight away with no context given to them if you were to report something, and teachers pick on you.
The safeguarding team are vile, there’s only about 2 caring SLT’s.
The workers in the school have a favourite student so they back that student up whenever they are in the wrong situation and don’t get any punishment for it (detentions ect.) You Get detentions slapped into your face over stupid little things that are not important what to ever.

"Not good enough"

Pros:
-Good teachers
-good student support
-quite diverse
-some good food
-goodish teachers
Cons:
-Rough students
-disruptive lessons
-not enough food for all
-teacher run out of resources quickly and school doesn't supply enough
-some teachers get picked on
- disgusting toilets
-not enough sport opportunities
-classes can be quite uncomfortable
-also quite a bit of racism/homophobia/antisemitism

From a viewpoint of a student so might not be fully true

"50/50 "

Whilst some teachers are kind hearted and understanding, some are not. Students don't get a fair chance in explaining their side of the issue when they're accused of something. For example , it's always the one who crys or runs to the teachers who gets believed. The education is taught good in most subjects, English, maths, science and religion lessons are well put together , some others are lacking though and just get us to copy texts the whole lesson , and occasionally do a task, rarely. In my experience at pittville, I struggled a little, but this wasn't recognised by teachers.
The school care more about appearance and how you look , than they do your actual education it's so silly. Some students smoke and vape on site too!
However I enjoyed going to pittville sometimes despite the high levels of stress that came my way.
